Lanluma is often talked about, but not always well understood.

I see a lot of confusion around what it is, what it does and how it actually works, particularly when it’s compared to traditional fillers.

What matters to me is that patients understand why a treatment works, not just what it promises.

When you understand the science, you can make decisions that feel informed, safe and aligned with your long-term goals.

So, let’s break down the science behind Lanluma and why it’s such a thoughtful option for body contouring 👉🏽

The best aesthetic work is subtle. It’s the kind of tweak that makes someone say, “You look really well,” not “What have you had?” And honestly, those are my favourite treatments to do.

There are a few small, strategic options that can make a big difference without changing your face. A gentle brow lift with toxin can open the eye area just enough to make you look more awake. Skin boosters such as Profhilo or polynucleotides can transform how your skin behaves, improving hydration and glow without altering your features. And PRP, using your own growth factors, is brilliant for refining texture, softening fine lines and brightening the skin in the most natural way possible.

It’s never about making obvious changes, it’s about helping you look fresher, more rested, and more confident in your own skin.

If you’re curious about subtle tweaks that still look like you, book a consultation via the link in my bio and let’s create a plan that’s right for you 💌

Not every practitioner is right for every person, and that’s actually a good thing.

Aesthetics works best when there’s alignment. When expectations are realistic, values match, and the focus is on long-term outcomes rather than quick wins.

Sometimes, knowing when a practitioner isn’t the right fit is just as valuable as finding one who is.

Here are four reasons we may not be the right match 👉🏽

If you feel like you’re constantly buying skincare but not actually seeing results, this is probably why 👆🏼

I see so many women spending far more than they need to, not because they’re doing anything wrong, but because the advice out there is noisy and confusing. Piling on product after product doesn’t make skin better. It usually just overwhelms it, causes irritation, and stops anything from really working properly.

Another big one is chasing trends. Just because something is everywhere online doesn’t mean it’s right for your skin. Most viral products aren’t designed for your skin type, your concerns, or how your skin behaves long term. And then there’s the basics. I still see people investing in expensive serums while skipping daily SPF or using the wrong cleanser, which quietly undermines everything else they’re doing.

Good skin doesn’t come from having more. It comes from having the right few things, used consistently and with intention. A routine that makes sense for your skin will always outperform a shelf full of products.

If you’re feeling stuck or unsure where your money is best spent, book a consultation and let’s strip things back and build a routine that actually works for you 💬

Choosing a practitioner isn’t just about the treatments they offer, it’s about how they work, what they value and how they make you feel in the process.

Aesthetics should never feel rushed, pressured or confusing.

It should feel calm, considered and centred around you as a person, not a procedure.

Before you decide where to book, here are a few things you simply won’t experience in my clinic 👉🏽

One of the questions I’m asked most often is whether it’s possible to delay a facelift without doing anything drastic.

The short answer is yes, but not with a single treatment and not by chasing trends.

Delaying surgery is about supporting your skin and facial structure early, choosing treatments that work with how the face ages, and having a plan that looks years ahead rather than weeks.

If you’ve been wondering what actually makes a difference long term, here’s exactly what I’d prioritise ➡️

I’m an aesthetic doctor, and I’m not afraid to admit that this job isn’t about doing the most treatments possible…

Some of the most important moments in my clinic happen before a needle ever comes out.

They’re in the conversations, the listening, and the times I explain why something isn’t needed or why waiting is the better option.

Aesthetics done well is thoughtful - it’s about judgement, restraint and understanding how a face will age, not just how it looks today.

That means being honest, even when the honest answer isn’t the most exciting one.

Ever wondered what really goes on behind those decisions, or why a good practitioner will sometimes say no? This one’s for you 👉🏽

If you’re looking for honest guidance and a plan that feels right for you, my door is always open for a consultation 💌

Aesthetic treatments are an investment, and I never take it lightly when someone chooses to spend their time, money or trust with me.

One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “What should I prioritise?”

Not because people want the cheapest option, but because they want the smartest one. The treatments that genuinely make a difference, support long-term ageing and don’t need constant topping up.

You don’t need to do everything. With the right plan, you can get beautiful, meaningful results by focusing on the treatments that give the biggest impact for your budget.

If you’re budgeting your treatments, here’s how to get the most value for your money and still achieve results you’ll love 👉🏽

One of the most common things women tell me is, “I don’t want to look different, I just want to look less tired.” And I understand that completely.

Looking rested is one of the most natural, confidence-boosting outcomes in aesthetics, yet it’s often misunderstood as something that requires lots of filler or dramatic changes.

The truth is, the treatments that make you look genuinely well don’t stand out. They don’t change your features. They simply restore what stress, hormones and time have taken away.

If you want to look fresher without ever looking “done”, these are the three treatments I’d prioritise 👉🏽
