Another gorgeous Cheeky Monkeys Stay & Play session this week 💛 Full of giggles, busy little feet, chats over coffee and such a lovely community atmosphere. It honestly brightens the whole home seeing everyone enjoying themselves here each week ✨

Today was all about relaxation, laughter, and a little bit of sparkle here at Sutton Rose Care Home 🥂💆‍♀️

Our lovely ladies and gentlemen enjoyed an afternoon of fizz and facials, complete with soothing skincare and gentle pampering. There’s nothing better than feeling refreshed, radiant, and thoroughly spoiled!

Lots of fun here at Sutton Rose over the past couple of days! 🎉

We had a very special visit from Minnie Mouse who brought so many smiles to our residents as well as the lovely children from the Stay & Play session — it was wonderful seeing all the generations enjoying time together. ❤️

And of course, the fun didn’t stop there… bingo followed with plenty of laughs, friendly competition and great company all round!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a joyful few days — we love creating these special moments for our residents and community.

🌟 What a wonderful time we’ve been having at Sutton Rose Care Home! 🌟

From the smell of freshly baked bread filling the home, to a fantastic Valentine’s celebration full of smiles, music and sweet treats — there’s been so much joy to share. And of course, our residents absolutely loved the special visit from Kenny the dog, who brought plenty of cuddles, laughter and tail wags with him 🐶❤️

Moments like these are what make Sutton Rose such a warm, happy place to live — friendship, fun, and creating memories together every single day.

🐴 Pony Magic at Sutton Rose Care Home 🐴

Today was truly special here at Sutton Rose Care Home as we welcomed some beautiful visiting ponies — and what a joy they brought with them! 💛

Residents, staff and visitors alike couldn’t stop smiling as our gentle four-legged guests made their way around the home, happily accepting strokes, cuddles and plenty of admiration. For many of our residents it sparked lovely memories of childhood, countryside walks, and past pets — the conversations and laughter were simply wonderful to see.

Moments like these remind us how powerful animal visits can be. They bring comfort, connection, excitement and a real sense of wellbeing — and today was full of all of that and more.

A huge thank you to the fantastic team who brought the ponies to us and made this magical afternoon possible. We’re already looking forward to their next visit! ✨

At Sutton Rose, creating meaningful experiences for our residents is at the heart of everything we do — and today was definitely one to remember.

Love has definitely been in the air at Sutton Rose over the past couple of days. We’ve had a wonderful Valentine’s celebration all round — a lovely community event, a special residents’ party, and some well-deserved treats for our amazing staff too.

✨ A Valentine’s Night to Remember at Sutton Rose ✨🌹

Wow… what an incredible evening! Our Community Valentine’s Dinner & Dance was absolutely beautiful from start to finish — a full house, a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and a dance floor that stayed busy all night! ❤️

It was so special to see residents, families, friends, and members of our community coming together to celebrate, laugh, eat well, and make lovely memories. Events like this are exactly what Sutton Rose is all about — connection, joy, and bringing people together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to our fantastic team who made the evening run so smoothly. We can’t wait for the next one! ✨

Today has been all about getting everything ready for our Valentine’s celebrations happening tomorrow here at Sutton Rose — and while we were busy preparing, we wanted to make sure our incredible team felt appreciated too.

So, as a small thank you for the care, kindness and dedication they show every single day to our residents, we surprised the staff with a Valentine’s buffet ❤️

It’s the little moments like this that remind us how lucky we are to have such a supportive, hardworking team. When our staff feel valued, it shines through in the warm, loving environment we create for everyone who calls Sutton Rose home.

Here’s to spreading the love — not just on Valentine’s Day, but all year round 💕

💛 International Childhood Cancer Day – 15th February 💛

We are absolutely blown away by the incredible generosity shown in support of children facing cancer. Thanks to the kindness, compassion, and tireless efforts of our teams and community, we’ve collected a huge number of brand-new toys ready to bring comfort, smiles, and moments of joy to children on the cancer ward.

A special thank you to everyone at Sutton Rose Care Home! Your dedication and teamwork have been truly inspiring.

We’ll be delivering these gifts to Birmingham Children’s Hospital cancer ward at the end of the month, and we hope they bring some comfort and happiness to the children and families there.

It’s amazing what can be achieved when people come together for such an important cause. 💛

A busy and brilliant day at Sutton Rose today! 💪🧶

Residents enjoyed an energising boxercise session to get moving, followed by some relaxing crocheting, where creativity (and plenty of chatter!) was flowing. The perfect mix of activity, wellbeing and social time.

It’s always wonderful to see everyone getting involved, trying new things and enjoying time together. ❤️
