☕💙 Dementia Cafe Reminder – Sutton Rose 💙☕

Just a friendly reminder that our Dementia Café at Sutton Rose is taking place this Friday, 6th February ✨

Everyone is welcome to join us for a relaxed, friendly space with tea, coffee, cake and conversation. There’s no charge to attend – the café is completely free, with optional donations kindly welcomed in support of Alzheimer’s Society 💜

Whether you’re living with dementia, caring for someone, or simply want to show your support, we’d love to see you there. Please feel free to pop in and bring a friend 🤍

🎩 Gentlemen’s Club at Sutton Rose Care Home 🎩

Today our lounge was full of great conversation, laughter, and proper gentlemanly charm as we hosted our Gentlemen’s Club at Sutton Rose Care Home.

Over cups of tea (and the odd biscuit or two ☕🍪), our gentlemen enjoyed:
• Relaxed chats and shared stories
• Reminiscing about work, hobbies, and life experiences
• Plenty of humour and friendly banter

These sessions are all about connection — creating a calm, welcoming space where friendships grow and everyone feels comfortable being themselves. Moments like this remind us how powerful simple conversation and companionship can be 💙

A lovely afternoon enjoyed by all, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

🎨🌸 Sutton Rose Arts & Crafts: Canvas Painting Session 🌸🎨

Today at Sutton Rose Care Home, we got creative with a lovely canvas painting session — and what a beautiful afternoon it was! 🖌️✨

Our residents enjoyed choosing their colours, getting stuck in with paintbrushes, and creating their own unique pieces of art. From bold strokes to delicate details, every canvas told its own story 💛🖼️

Painting is such a wonderful way to relax, express yourself, and spark happy memories — and the room was full of smiles, laughter, and creativity from start to finish 🌈😊

A huge well done to everyone who took part… we have some real artists here at Sutton Rose! 👩‍🎨👨‍🎨💐

What a brilliant week we’ve had here at Sutton Rose! 🌟

Our residents have enjoyed a lovely mix of activities full of laughter, creativity, and togetherness — from games and group sessions to relaxing moments and plenty of smiles along the way 💛

It’s been wonderful to see everyone getting involved, trying new things, and making memories as a Sutton Rose family. We’re already looking forward to another week of fun! ✨

💛 Community Spirit at Sutton Rose 💛

Over the past couple of months here at Sutton Rose, we’ve been incredibly proud to come together and raise money for two amazing causes — Leukaemia charities and Simply School Supplies 🌟

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our wonderful community, we’ve raised funds through our raffles at local events and community gatherings, and every single ticket bought, prize donated, and penny contributed has helped make a real difference. 🎟️✨

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us — whether you donated, attended an event, or helped spread the word. Your support means more than we can say, and we’re so grateful to be part of a community that truly cares 💕

We can’t wait to keep the momentum going and continue supporting causes close to our hearts.

💙 Blue Monday turned into a feel-good afternoon at Sutton Rose! 💙

Our fantastic activities team hosted a cosy games, drinks & snacks session for the staff team — complete with yummy cakes and classic games like Connect 4, noughts & crosses, hangman and pool 🎱🍰

A lovely little boost of laughter, teamwork and well-earned downtime! 😊🙌
