🌸 Blooming Beautiful Moments at Sutton Rose Care Home 🌸

Our home was filled with colour, creativity, and the most wonderful floral scents this afternoon as our residents took part in a relaxing flower arranging session 💐

From carefully selecting each stem to designing their own unique displays, it was lovely to see everyone expressing their creativity and enjoying a calm, mindful activity together. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and even a few hidden talents discovered along the way!

Activities like this aren’t just about creating something beautiful — they help promote wellbeing, spark memories, and bring people together in the most meaningful way 🌷

April Fools at Sutton Rose Care Home! 🎉

Today we brought some laughter into the home with a few light-hearted pranks between staff (all in good spirits, of course! 😄).

From turning the tap on mid-bath 🚿, to a fake resignation 😳, to even convincing people there was a mouse in the building 🐭… it’s safe to say we kept everyone on their toes!

Moments like these are so important in creating a positive, happy working environment for our team and residents alike.

Today we welcomed Boldmere St Michael’s junior football team to Sutton Rose to meet our amazing podcast ladies 🎙️⚽

What an incredibly special afternoon bringing generations together — full of laughter, stories, cheeky moments and genuine connection. Boldmere St Michaels FC

From football chats to memories from years gone by, it was so special to see the bond form between young and old. These are the moments that truly matter 💛

Our residents absolutely loved it — and so did the boys!

We are completely overwhelmed by the incredible generosity shown so far! 💛🐣

Thank you to everyone who has already donated Easter eggs for Sutton Rose Care Home and Abbey Rose Care Home — your kindness is going to make such a difference.

We are still collecting until 1st April, and all donations will go to children who may not otherwise receive an Easter treat.

If you’d still like to contribute, there’s time to spread a little more joy this Easter 🐰✨

What an incredible afternoon we had at Sutton Rose Care Home as we were treated to a dazzling drag queen performance! 💃🌈

Our residents were absolutely thrilled—singing along, clapping, and soaking up every moment of the fun, laughter, and pure entertainment. It was a beautiful reminder of how music and performance can bring everyone together and create unforgettable memories.

A huge thank you to our amazing performer for bringing such joy, colour, and energy into our home—you truly made the day extra special! 💖

What a fantastic few days here at Sutton Rose! 💛

From getting creative in our arts & crafts sessions 🎨, to enjoying lovely trips out to Boldmere High Street 🛍️, it’s been full of smiles and special moments. We were also delighted to welcome pupils from Boldmere School – such a joy to see different generations connecting! 👏

And to top it all off, we had a brilliant time cheering on St Michael’s football team ⚽ – the atmosphere was amazing!
