The Gap - Midlands Engaging with, investing in and empowering young people. We open 15:30 - 17:30 Monday, Wednesday and Friday, excluding bank holidays. OutThere!

The Gap's mission is to engage with young people, identify their needs, invest time and resources in order to empower them to be the best of themselves in their lives. We hold a "drop-in" after school or college called The Venue on Trinity Hill, up past Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church and at the end of the top car park on the left. Please look for updates on our social media posts or email the office. At the Venue you can chill and hang out in our 'lounge' atmosphere...we have air hockey, basketball, card games, darts board, recording studio for music, podcasts or songs, table tennis, Xbox, as well as our 'flagship' Hot Chocolate Mountain and much more! is our detached youth work in and around Gracechurch Shopping Centre. HeadSpace is our schools and college project, delivering assemblies, workshops and one to one mentoring using qualified mentors. Like our page and come visit us. This week at The Gap (Midlands), we’ve been full of festive cheer! We kicked things off by diving into the Christmas spirit with a joyful crafts session bursting with creativity. Wednesday was party time, complete with our Christmas celebration, special awards delivered by the Gap elves, and plenty of pizza to go around. We wrapped up the week with some friendly festive competition, putting our knowledge to the test in a Christmas quiz and showing off our skills in a gingerbread challenge. A truly magical week from start to finish! All the team at The Gap would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and best wishes for the new year! 🎄 Keep your eyes peeled to see what the team get up to over Christmas and opening times for 2026!

Help support local young people.

The Gap (Midlands) is a local charity set up in 2008 and run a drop-in open for all 12-18 year olds after school or college Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. We also provide street youth work in Sutton Coldfield and one-to-one mentoring, workshops and assemblies in local schools and colleges.

There are many ways to help support The Gap and the work we do. Signing up with Easyfundraising is just one way to support us so when you shop online with your favourite retailers, they’ll donate to us.
