📢 GP Practices in Sutton may be closed for the holidays, but you can still see a GP or Nurse through our Enhanced Access Service.

❗Please be aware that appointment slots are limited. If you need to see a GP, we recommend calling early in the day to book. For minor illnesses or advice, your local pharmacy and NHS 111 are also here to help.

Please be aware that doctor strikes will take place from 7am on Wednesday 17th December until 7am on Monday 22nd December 2025.

During this time, services may be disrupted. We encourage patients to:
✅ Use NHS 111 online or by phone for urgent medical advice
✅ Visit local pharmacies for minor health concerns
✅ Attend A&E only in emergencies

We had so much fun making Christmas wreaths last week as part of the Space2Grow women’s group.

It was great to have some time in from the cold as it was quite wet in the garden! A huge thank you to Denise, one of our attendees, who has supported these sessions from the beginning and also provides incredible creative arts and crafts workshops such as this, amongst other sessions she runs.

On World AIDS Day 2025, we unite to raise awareness and support those living with HIV.

👉 If you’re concerned about HIV or want to know more:
- Contact your local GP for confidential advice
- Access NHS sexual health clinics for free testing and support
- Find resources on the NHS website

Together, we can overcome disruption and transform the AIDS response.

On World AIDS Day 2025, we unite under the theme “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response.”

This day is about:
- Raising awareness of HIV/AIDS
- Honouring lives lost to HIV‑related illness
- Standing in solidarity with people living with HIV
- Renewing commitment to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030

Together, we can overcome disruption and build a stronger, more inclusive response.

It’s - a pivotal moment for us, the HIV sector and everyone living with HIV.

Today we thank our incredible fundraisers and all of our World AIDS Day ambassadors who enable our vital work to support people living with HIV.

Show your support in the fight against stigma by wearing a red ribbon, raising awareness of the day and showing solidarity with people living with HIV today.

We will continue fighting for the rights of everybody living with, at risk of or affected by HIV.

🌟We really enjoyed working with our colleagues from Step Ahead at The Phoenix Centre on Thursday.

It was great to meet local residents and talk about how we can support around employment, volunteering and learning new skills.

We look forward to more events where our Social Prescribing team can continue to provide support in this area.

What a fantastic night at the ! ⭐
We may not have taken home the win, but it was truly inspiring to be surrounded by so many people dedicated to excellence in healthcare. It was especially great to be there alongside our local pharmacy team and to celebrate the amazing work happening across our community in Sutton.

A huge thank you to all our staff for getting us to finalist status, your hard work, passion, and commitment made it possible. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited for what’s ahead! 💙✨

🌟It was great collaborating with the Wellbeing Team at Sutton Talking Therapies and Barai Pharmacy to bring a second session of the Mind & Body series to Shanklin Village Estate.

At the session this week we discussed how to keep healthy over Christmas - being aware of what you eat whilst also looking at how you can support your own wellbeing over the festive period. 🎄

We look forward to our next session in January! 🎉
