The stats for November are in!

By the end of November, we'd responded to 7,803 requests during this year, almost all from the NHS in Derbyshire.

November was slightly down on October, with the difference largely accounted for by November having an extra weekend and one less day.

October was affected for a few days with low temperatures, resulting in bikes being grounded and all our cars in use.

Anyone having to go to the ED at Royal Derby Hospital will find the entry to the department has changed to entrance 8!

The adjacent entrance 9 is the closest entry to the hospital for us to access Pathology and Blood Bank on Level 5.

Our bikes even feature in the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust video.

This will inevitably have an impact on our service as these changes will mean that parking and access around the hospital will be more difficult in the coming months. We appeal for patience as we negotiate these changes.

Leading the charge towards Christmas celebrations last night!

The weather held off to allow all their hard work to be seen in full at their King Lane home!

Fireworks, snow foam and singing got everyone in the mood for the appearance of Mr and Mrs Claus who encouraged all their family, friends and locals to donate to Derbyshire Blood Bikes!
