See if you can practice this for 3-5 mins during your day. Notice any shifts in your body or mind…

2. If something goes wrong, redo it, spilt coffee, an email/message, just reset and go again…
3. Go outside and focus on one thing that’s not you, trees, birds, dolphins…
4. Reciprocity. If someone smiles, do you smile back or blank them? As social animals we respond to people who look angry or blank by feeling unsafe…

Do you have non-restful sleep?
Do you have digestive issues?
Do you have high blood pressure?

You could be in sympathetic nervous system mode almost all the time.

You can change this through specific yoga therapy techniques.

The theme in all yoga classes until Christmas is focussing on the Vagus Nerve and switching our nervous system into the parasympathetic mode allowing for rest and digest.

Give it a go and your body and mind will thank you.

The final week July will be about promoting rest and quality sleep.
