I recently completed the 4 week beginners course and so glad I took the plunge. Having osteoarthritis in both hips and one knee I avoid the 'squats and lunges' types of exercise classes and I had read that Pilates strengthens your core and improves your flexibility so hoped this would be perfect for me. Frances and Rosanna are so welcoming and Rosanna has given me adaptations of some exercises to accommodate any painful joints. I'm already feeling the benefits, much looser and for the first time in ages I have been able to get up off the floor without a struggle! The majority of our beginners class have all signed up to continue so it's great to meet up with friendly faces every week.
