No-vember ✨
a month to consciously practice saying no to what drains you, so you can say yes to what truly matters.

Before the end-of-year rush sweeps in… this is your gentle reminder that you do not have to be available for everything.

Saying “no” isn’t negative — it’s a boundary.
It’s a gift to your future self.
It’s space.
It’s self-respect.

This month consider saying “no” to:
• extra commitments you don’t have capacity for
• the pressure to overschedule yourself
• habits that leave you tired (eg endless scrolling, late nights, poor sleep routines, negative inner chatter)

So that you can say a wholehearted YES to:
• rest
• intentional connection
• practices that nourish you
• what is truly important

No-vember isn’t about isolation —
it’s about balance.
Choosing what supports your peace.

What’s one thing you’re saying no to this month?
And what’s the yes you’re making space for? 💛

Continuous learning is everything. 👩‍🎓
This weekend I was back at Polestar in London — yes, doing more Pilates teacher training… even though I’m already a teacher.

Because I never want to sit still.
I don’t want to teach on autopilot.

I want to keep evolving.
Keep refining my craft.
Keep bringing fresh ideas + new energy to my clients — so they feel inspired, challenged, supported… and excited to come back.

We’re never “finished”.
And that’s the beauty of it. ✨

✨ Exciting News! ✨

I’ve been exploring new retreat venues… and today I found one that truly feels special. 🌿

Tucked away in the Kent countryside, this beautiful space offers the perfect blend of peace and comfort — complete with a swimming pool, sauna, and spacious en suite rooms (mostly shared, with a very limited number of singles).

I’m planning a Yoga & Pilates weekend retreat here — arriving Friday afternoon and departing Sunday afternoon — a chance to move, rest, and reconnect surrounded by nature.

Right now, I’m just gauging interest before confirming the booking, so if this sounds like your kind of weekend, DM me to register your interest. 💌 Or comment below

Let’s make this happen!

💪 Adding a Little Weight to Your Pilates Practice

We’ve been using weights in class this week — I often love using the weighted balls, but the dumbbells have worked so well!

In Pilates, we don’t need to go heavy — even a small amount of resistance (around 1–1.5 kg) can make a big difference. It helps to:
✨ Build strength and tone through the arms and shoulders
✨ Add challenge to the core and stability work
✨ Improve bone health and muscle endurance
✨ Bring a little variety and freshness to familiar movements

It’s amazing how a light weight can completely change how an exercise feels — encouraging control, awareness, and deeper engagement without losing that mindful Pilates flow.

Small Steps, Big Change 🧘‍♀️💪

After 15 years of teaching yoga & Pilates, one truth stands out: transformation doesn’t come from perfection — it comes from showing up.

It’s not about intensity; it’s about consistency.
Even 10 minutes a day can create lasting change in your body and mind.

✨ Start small
🧘‍♂️ Link practice to daily habits
📅 Celebrate showing up

Progress lives in the quiet commitment you make to yourself.
Start today — one breath, one stretch, one step at a time.

🧘‍♀️ Is Yoga Dead?

I read a comment today that said “Yoga is dead.”
I have to admit, it made me pause.

Yoga has been around for thousands of years — some say between two and five thousand and I think it’s safe to say it’s going to outlive a lot of things (including most of our modern fitness trends!).

That said, it’s interesting how the focus shifts over time. Pilates, especially Reformer, is definitely having a big moment right now. My own business has naturally become more Pilates-heavy, not through intention, but simply through where the demand has been.

But yoga? Yoga still has a deep and important place in our world. It’s the practice that connects us back to ourselves — body, mind, and breath.

So, I’m curious… what’s your preference — yoga or Pilates? And do you think yoga is really “dead”?

🧘‍♀️ Join me tonight for both:
✨ Yoga — a grounding, mindful flow to help you unwind
💪 Pilates — to build strength and stability from the inside out

There are spaces available in both classes tonight — I’d love to see you there! 💫
