More than just circles. Your back is telling a story. 🗺️🩸

Take a look at the variation in color from this morning’s cupping session. In MSK therapy, the marks left by vacuum cupping aren’t standard bruises they are a physiological map.
Light Pink/Red: Good blood flow, minimal restriction.

Deep Purple/Magenta: Indicates significant stagnation, chronic tension, or restricted circulation in the underlying fascia and muscle.
In this photo, you can clearly see the patient holds massive tension in their lower back (lumbar region), where the marks are darkest. By pulling these restrictions to the surface, we encourage fresh, nutrient rich blood to flood the area, breaking down adhesions and kickstarting the healing process.

It looks dramatic, but the relief is real.

Week 6 Post-Op: The real work begins! 💪

Great to have this patient back in the clinic for their second session following a biceps reconstruction.

Hitting the 6-week mark is a massive milestone in this rehab journey. The initial acute healing phase is behind us, and now it’s all about controlled, deliberate movement. Today’s session was focused on safe exercises to restore full Range of Motion (ROM) and start waking those muscles back up without overloading the repair.

As we always say here at Serenity Holistics: Movement is medicine. We're taking it step-by-step to rebuild strength, stability, and confidence in that arm. Massive well done to the patient for putting the work in today! 📈

Take a close look at the video. I know, I know my technique for this special test isn't exactly textbook here! 😅 It turns out that trying to film with one hand while testing the joint with the other is a bit of a logistical nightmare.
But despite the one handed camera work, the main clinical sign and the laxity are definitely still there.

Tough day at the office for the boys up in Ammanford today. 🏉

Serenity Holistics was proud to be on the sidelines with Glynneath RFC, doing our part to keep the team moving. From pre-match taping and strapping to running the bag, pitch-side first aid, and post-match massages, we threw everything we had at keeping the lads in one piece!

Unfortunately, the final score didn’t go our way this time, but you can't fault the massive effort left out there on the pitch. Rest up, recover well, and we go again next week! 💪🩹

🦵 ACL Recovery Update: Weeks 3-6 Strong!
Big progress happening! 🙌

The first few weeks were tough, but now we're moving into the crucial building phase (Weeks 3-6). This is where consistency pays off, and the results are encouraging!

📈 Major Wins Right Now:
Swelling Check: The massive swelling is fading fast! Managing the residual puffiness with lots of icing and elevation.

Strength Climb: Quads and hamstrings are waking up! We're focusing heavily on closed-chain exercises (hello, stationary bike and mini-squats! 🚴‍♀️).

ROM Milestones: Pushing hard for that full extension and seeing big gains in flexion. Every degree counts!

Crutch Freedom: Starting the transition off crutches (when cleared!), working on a smoother, more confident walk.

The graft is healing, the muscles are firing, and the motivation is high!

Remember: Don't skip your rehab! Protect the knee, listen to your body, and trust the process.

David Knight went to Las Vegas for the biggest meet of his life… and came home a world champion.

Yesterday, he crossed the finish line of the Cardiff Half Marathon - the furthest he’s ever run.

That’s not just a race. That’s months of quiet graft.
Staying consistent. Showing up through niggles.

Michael’s been a long-term client of ours - coming in regularly for maintenance to stay on top of old injuries and keep the legs moving.

Yesterday, it all came together.
A massive achievement for a top bloke.
