Sancta Maria Hospital HMT Sancta Maria is a not-for-profit hospital located in Swansea, Wales.

We work with the UK’s leading consultants to provide a full range of healthcare services to private and NHS referral patients. As part of the healthcare charity, The Healthcare Management Trust, HMT Sancta Maria Hospital is a not-for-profit organisation. As such, we have no shareholders and our surpluses are used to support dementia charities, educational grants, and medical research around ageing. Our mission is to improve the health, wellbeing and independence of people in our care and quality and safety lie at the heart of everything we do. It is very important to us to be a part of the health community and work in conjunction with our NHS colleagues to provide the communities we serve with a high quality, modern healthcare services

HMT Sancta Maria will close tomorrow, 24th December, with phone lines open 8am-4pm on the 29th, 30th and 31st. The hospital will reopen fully again on 2nd January 2026.

Mr Williams currently an Associate Medical Director at the Swansea Bay University Health Board.

As well as being the Honorary Orthopaedic Surgeon to Swansea City AFC and at times the Wales FA, he is also a Swansea Medical School Clinical Tutor and Examiner and Assigned Educational Trainer for Core and Higher surgical trainees.
