You may have seen these around and thought 'what do they mean?' 👇

These pieces designed by NylahMAK are inspired by the patterns and stories she has gathered from different people on the street, representing the diversity of this community. Over many months, she ran a number of community workshops exploring textile patterns, simple print techniques, design, drawing and embroidery. Participants brought treasured personal items which held a connection to identity and learned about each other’s cultures and traditions.

Throwback Thursday to a sunny Porthcawl!

After running design workshops with a local group, we painting hoarding boards with as a team effort using the designs and elements brought up in the discussion. Some really great themes and teamwork there!

Pupils at Bishopston Comprehensive were given the chance to design their own utility box and through a spray painting workshop with Fresh Creative, got to bring their design to life on boxes outside the school! 😍 Learning to use a doodle grid in order to mark up the design and learning spray painting techniques in order to complete the design on the box. A great collaborative effect from all the students!
