As we approach the end of the year it is common to reflect, to consider change. If this is you, this video is for you 🩵.

A video to encourage you to consider what you want. There are many routes towards your destination, find the one that works with your individual system🩵.

However, if you are someone who is in no way ready to take the practical steps - remember we are in the middle of winter ❄️. The season is inviting us to hibernate. It is ok if that's all you want to do right now. Pause, rest and recharge. Spring (and in many ways the true new year) is just around the corner 🌱✨.

If you are making changes or not, please do so with softness. You are already doing your best 🩵.

We'd like to wish each and every person who we've shared space with this year a Merry Christmas. We hope you have the Christmas period you need 🩵.

We approach the end of year with gratitude and pride for all that we have achieved but also excitement for the year ahead.

This time of year can be an emotional rollercoaster. For those who love Christmas, soak up every second. Remember to slow down enough to enjoy it! For those who find it difficult, this too shall pass, you are not alone. Acknowledge to yourself that it is difficult and use your 'toolkit' with grace and compassion 🩵

For me (Leanne), it is a time that I thought might never happen. I get to utter the words 'Santa has been!' to the most special soul I have ever met on Christmas Day morning. I could pinch myself. I am so lucky to be her mum. I get to wonder in the magic that he is as a dad.

So here's us sending you love and thanks for a magical year 🩵

Sometimes the inside of our mind can feel more like a battlefield than a sacred space. This is something that can be healed. You CAN move towards a life where there is space for self-compassion, for a you that is on your own side, a you that holds space for peace.

Spending time with nature has a grounding effect on the nervous system. Finding a space to visit regularly reminds us of our own needs for space, for safety, to feel peace and remember who we are 🩵.

What a privilege it is to do the work we do 🩵

Growth, progress, evolution, whatever you want to call it.. Taking steps TOWARD the person you want to be looks different for everyone. In our group today, made up of the loveliest of people, we covered The Teenage Brain, looking at the restructure of the brain, the rewritten expectations and the bombardment of change that happens during these expansive years. It naturally brings reflection and memories that, with open hearts, create space for growth.
This is Day 2/5 and we are already seeing and hearing great change. We are so lucky to do what we do 🩵

We ABSOLUTELY love this course, this is our flagship programme. This is what anyone working with (or parenting 😅) children and young people NEED TO KNOW.

This picture is the end of Day 1/5 - The Foundations of Behaviour. In Day 1 we cover things like ACEs, big T and little t traumas, brain formation and connection, attachment, The Filter and more. Pretty heavy stuff right? But look at the faces 😍 we pride ourselves in delivering heavy subjects in a way that is digestible and relatable, a way that allows the brain to soak in the information and not cringe and reject it.
Learning how a human is 'built' from conception gives us more empathy and understanding for all the children we come in contact with as well as ourselves. We are all human and once we understand that everyone is trying their best with the cards they have been dealt, well, our filter changes and therefore our world.

It is an absolute pleasure to deliver this information to those who are hungry to learn and want to be the best for those they support professionally and those they love personally. Turning up with open hearts and an appetite to be better is invaluable.
Each group has a different journey and we are so excited to see where this group takes us🩵

Some info re our Holistic Steps to Wellbeing course that starts next week (Tuesdays 6pm to 8pm). This isn't just a positive thinking course. This isn't a tokenistic, surface level wellbeing course. This is a course that has the potential to change your life (in the words of our previous participants 🩵).

What better way to end 2025 than with a roadmap to a place where you can be kinder to yourself, where you can see the steps that will allow your nervous system to rebuild safety. You will leave this course with an understanding as to how we as humans work and with that understanding the realisation that we truly are all trying our best.

Beating yourself up and allowing no space for your own needs leaves you frazzled and sad. There is another way. Let us show you. There is always laughter in our groups and often tears. Both are so welcome.

We still have spaces left. If you are fancying it but feel nervous please just reach out. This programme is run in a lovely setting. It will be a small group (maximum of 7 people). The only thing we ask from you is to come with an open mind. We will guide you through the rest.

£££ - The course is £60 for all 5 sessions but If finances are the reason you are unable to come please please get in touch. We don't want that to be the barrier to you feeling well. We will do what we can to help 🩵

We've had a few questions about our upcoming The Holistic Steps to Wellbeing group so we are going to make a video answering them all tomorrow.

The Holistic Steps to Wellbeing. The course where we don't just look at the surface of wellbeing, we dig deeper with the aim of understanding ourselves. We discover the self compassion that sits alongside that understanding. We realise the peace that is possible when we start living a life where we are on our own side.

Each session builds upon the ones before it, to build your knowledge, your understanding and your feeling. To expand your awareness of yourself and everyone around you. To find your balance and reach the point of clear, personal, achievable steps to achieve the change YOU want to see/feel.

Self Talk - The way you talk to yourself matters. It can be your closest friend or for so many people, your biggest critic. Changing the inner voice isn't just a case of 'thinking positive'. It involves rebuilding the relationship you have with yourself.

This is done through a journey of learning to understand yourself, of learning to have compassion for yourself. This might feel impossible but I promise you it is not. It is all about the little steps you can take to become a kinder version of yourself, to yourself.
