Fox Therapy EMDR & Counselling. Online and face-to-face in Swansea. I’m Rachael Fox, an experienced psychotherapist. My background is working with addiction and homelessness.

PTSD, anxiety, relationship difficulties, addiction, bereavement, anger management, codependency, stress, depression, self-worth, phobias, trauma, burnout, and more... I studied at the University of Wales Trinity St David, where I achieved a 1st class Honours degree in Counselling. I am Accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Therapist. The relationship between client and counsellor is paramount, and I value building trusting and respectful relationships with my clients. I have worked in supported housing for people who were trying to get their lives back on track after dealing with alcohol or drug dependency and offenders. I have also worked in a local drug and alcohol agency and in drop-in centres for the homeless.

Neck pain?? We got you covered!!

A large percentage of people that visit our clinic present with soft tissue tension resulting in discomfort, lack of function and often pain.

This may result in tension head aches, restrictions during head movements and an inability to sleep comfortably.

During one of our sessions, we will aim to promote blood flow into the muscle surrounding the neck and shoulder, provide trigger point therapy into any muscular knots present and if applicable neck mobilisations and stretches such as de compression.

Furthermore, to supplement our hands on therapy we often send our clients strengthening exercises to try to give the tissues as much support and function moving forward to stay on top of the symptoms they have been experiencing.

It is sometimes surprising to feel the heaviness that comes out of you when you finally decide to heal and let go. It may even hurt or feel intense, but you know that you would much rather face the storm than to keep carrying around that dreadful tension.
