Tonight it was nearly impossible for me to get to my regular exercise class. And it's so easy to make excuses at this time of year. It's too dark, it's too cold, it's too difficult to fit it in. I have previously been the person making these excuses, but tonight I took my own advice (and the advice of Nike) and just did it anyway.

My kids had to come with me while I worked out in the dark and cold, and yes I had to make some improvisations to keep them amused (see photo) but now I am so glad I went.

✅I was a calmer parent putting them to bed because I'd prioritised moving my body.
✅I am lowering my chances of getting aches and pains over the holidays because I'm prioritising movement.

Thanks to for the 📸 and also helping to keep the kids safe and happy during class ❤️
