Tomorrow we're up early and heading to the big smoke for an opticians trade fair for a gander at some new toys and new glasses. We are currently really busy and today we had to send someone to another practice - many thanks - as we completely ran out of capacity. Another referral from a practice had to be turned down also. Sadly we later had a no show from a follow up of an emergency referral last week. These follow ups are essential to make sure the drugs prescribed are working and not causing harm. Oddly the worst offenders seem to be fellow healthcare professionals. Out of respect for those who need the appointment, if you are not going to attend please let us know.
