One of our learners took the lead on food prep, focusing on safety, hygiene and real responsibility. With the same ingredients, he created different options so everyone was catered for.

He has a real interest in cooking and it showed. Proud moment.

Our last session before the Christmas break at Digging Deep ended in the best way possible.

A learner surprised us with homemade cupcakes, a cake, and Christmas cards they’d made themselves.
One card, written to a member of our team, said:

“Thanks for making me feel included and not invisible.”

That’s what this is really about.
Feeling seen. Feeling valued. Feeling like you belong.

We’ll carry that message with us into the new year.
