Well, I don’t want to speak too soon but……the weather has felt brighter and I think everyone has felt brighter. Long may that continue!! I have caught up with myself after a couple of very busy months which means I have a few available appointments remaining for next week. So, please don’t hesitate to give me a call if you are in need of an appointment. In the meantime, let’s look forward to the longer, brighter days ahead!😅🌤️🌷

Hello Swavesey! How are you all? I seem
to have had a sudden rush of cancelling/postponing appointments for this coming Friday! I don’t know if it is the superstition in people, or pure coincidence?!! I will not actively seek to fill these appointments unless anyone is in desperate need. Instead I will start my half term break a few hours early! I will be returning to work on Tuesday 24th Feb but please leave any messages/enquires in the meantime. Best wishes, Susannah

29 new patients in 12 days with lots of follow-up patients in between. Quality time is given to everyone, with 1 hour allocated to every new patient and 45min for each follow-up. A busy start to the year and an absolute pleasure to meet so many new faces. Thank you so much for all your recommendations. 🤗

Our Emergency Departments are extremely busy at the moment. Please consider alternative options, where appropriate.

Pallav, Emergency Department Consultant at Hinchingbrooke, said: “We are working hard to safely assess and treat a large number of very unwell patients. Please only attend the Emergency Department if you require urgent or life-saving care.

“If you need urgent medical help but are unsure where to go, please contact NHS 111. You can call, go online, or use the NHS App to be assessed and directed to the most appropriate service.

“Please be kind and patient with our staff, who are doing everything they can to see patients as quickly and safely as possible. Thank you.”

It still seems far too early to be writing a Christmas post but as it’s nearly a year since the last one I had better just get on with it! They say that as you get older the years go quicker but 2025 has been a short sprint!!!

My main reflection this year is what an incredible community we have in these villages and surrounding area. My personal thank you’s firstly go to my family, , and who give that unwavering support when life throws you things!

On wider reflection there are so many local businesses I want to thank. We work hand in hand, all with the same aim of improving the health, fitness and wellbeing of our community. I will now attempt to list them but please give me a nudge if I forget anyone!









A huge thank you to all the staff at the surrounding village GP surgeries, the hospital consultants as well as Momentm Health Cambridge.

My final hugest thank you goes to you, the patient. There is laughter, there are tears, but mostly there is friendship and sheer determination between us to get you back doing the things you love. Thank you for choosing Swavesey Physio and may I take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a New Year of good health and happiness.
