Big shout out to Teresa and Gemma for sharing a recent plea seen on social media to help Gloucestershire Royal Hospital which we believe is mainly to provide some added warmth to premature babies at the facility. Origin wanted to help, so today we sent 19 hats (hand-knitted by my Teresa in less than a week) to the hospital.

Any knitters out there? If you would like to do the same please show your appreciation to the NHS!

Origin got an email from Nicola, Business Centre Manager earlier this week at Pure Offices (Swindon).

In essence, she was outlining a campaign that sets out to give every child the opportunity to experience Christmas. For many local children, Christmas isn’t something they look forward to which is sad to hear. It’s another defined set of circumstances that highlights their struggle and gifts aren’t even really on the radar.

Director of Origin, Chris; decided to buy a few gifts to donate, in the hope that he can put a smile on a few more faces this Christmas. For more info about the campaign or to do the same, please look at the link below:

Last week I decided to challenge my Nieces (aged 6 & 10) to create posters on their ideas around safety as a well-deserved bit of escapism from the day to day. In return I got a couple of brilliant designs, one on the safety I know and the other about how to be safe online! Had to share!!!

I was so impressed with these that I arranged for their Grandad to bring them over to The Yard Pottery Painting Co. on Friday for a few well-deserved hours of family time creating some pottery.
