Our volunteers are at the very heart of Steel Bones. They give their time, energy and kindness so generously, and it makes a real difference every single day. Thanks to them, people know they’re not alone and that there’s always someone ready to listen, support and care.

I would like to personally thank every one of our volunteers, we simply couldn’t do what we do without you. - Gary Hawksworth - Chairman

We (The Prosthetic and Orthotic Stakeholder Group) are launching something bigger than a campaign. We are launching a shared movement.

Prosthetic and orthotic services are not just devices. They are skilled healthcare, delivered by people, that change lives every day.

Patients, professionals, charities, and industry are coming together as One Voice to say these services matter and they deserve protection.

Over the months ahead, you will hear directly from the people behind the care and from those whose lives are shaped by it.

That is why we value Prosthetic and Orthotic Services."

We are super excited to see Billy Monger back at the heart of para-sport, playing a part in history at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games ❄️🥇

Billy’s love for speed and the mountains goes way back, from childhood days on the slopes, to unforgettable ski trips with friends, and now continuing to get out there in a new way.

So seeing Billy step up to anchor Channel 4’s live coverage of the Winter Paralympics feels especially powerful. He brings authenticity, insight, and lived experience, helping showcase para sport exactly as it should be: fast, fearless, and elite.

We can’t wait to see Billy in action, amplifying para-sport on one of the world’s biggest stages.

Winter Paras… LET’S GOOOO ❄️⛷️🎿
