When Lesley felt unwell recently, she didn't book a GP appointment or head to the Emergency Department.

Instead, she walked into Clive Parade Pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist – who prescribed antibiotics on the spot.💊

"I have consulted with the pharmacist on a number of occasions and have not only received excellent advice but also had antibiotics prescribed," said Lesley. "The pharmacies are an excellent first contact for a range of ailments and I fully support the Pharmacy First initiative."

And Lesley's not alone. Pharmacists can now treat seven common conditions and prescribe medication when needed – meaning you can get help faster, closer to home.💙

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our patients and the local community for their patience and support during the past two weeks while renovation works were carried out at Clive Parade Pharmacy.

I am extremely proud of the whole team for maintaining operations throughout this period and continuing to serve our community without disruption.

With the refurbishment now complete, we are pleased to announce that we now have two fully equipped and spacious consultation rooms. These facilities allow us to accommodate an expanded range of services at the branch, including Pharmacy First referrals directly from GP surgeries, delivered by our two prescribing pharmacists, Asim and Idris.

In the coming weeks, we will also be extending our provision to include private services such as professional ear wax removal, with further NHS and private clinical services to follow.

Bank Holiday Monday 26th May: Closed
Tuesday 27th May: Open as usual, 9:00am – 6:00pm
