Industrial action is being carried out by members of the Society of Radiographers. The strike will last 48 hours, beginning at 8am on Tuesday 25 July and ending at 8am Thursday 27 July and will affect services provided at the Great Western Hospital.

During the upcoming industrial action, a limited service will be provided. This will see radiographers derogated to deliver urgent and emergency care in a service similar to that which operates on Christmas Day.

The walk-in x-ray service will be closed during the period of industrial action, and the Trust will be asking patients referred to the radiology department by a GP not to attempt to attend the walk-in service during this time.
