The festive season is full of joy, but it can also be busy and sometimes overwhelming. That’s why, at Home Instead Swindon and Vale of White Horse, extra support hours are available over Christmas.

As November winds down, we’re welcoming the last Friday of the month!

At Home Instead Swindon and Vale of White Horse, our Care Professionals have been busy all week, making sure our clients stay safe, comfortable, and, most importantly, warm as the colder days set in. From helping with daily routines to ensuring clients are properly wrapped up for outings, every visit is focused on comfort and safety.

With temperatures dropping, remember to layer up, bring a scarf and take extra care when out and about. Small steps can make a big difference in staying safe this winter. ❄️

"Be a Santa 🎅to a Senior", our annual charitable campaign is well underway! 🎁 A massive thank-you to those who have contributed so far. Special thanks to our own Care Professionals who have donated, like Sam Doherty, who brought in this lovely collection of gifts! So generous! Huge thanks Sam!
We still need more gifts to ensure that all the patients on the Jupiter Ward at GWH get a cozy, comforting gift on Monday 15th December, when we are bringing both the gifts and a great local singer, Sentimental Journeys with Nicki to bring cheer to the patients and staff.

🎄⛄Festive fun, making painted Christmas ornaments on Monday at our Faringdon Friendship and Memories Cafe! 🎄🥳 This is a Home Instead Charities Companionship Cafe run by volunteers from our office and is kindly sponsored by Rotary Club of Faringdon & District. Thanks to lovely Care Pro Racheal Barefoot who (being a professional artist as well as one of our Care Pro's) led the inclusive painting workshop which enabled everyone to make a painted wooden Christmas decoration to take home.
The cafe is free and open to anyone seeking friendship and connection and includes a refreshments. A helpful guest shares some useful information, or we have a creative activity. And we always end with a fun sing-a-long! Supported by Dementia Oxfordshire Next date is Monday 8th Dec for a Christmas Party event with singer Sentimental Journeys with Nicki.
