Meet Paige 👋

Paige supports both our carers and clients out in the community at Right at Home Swindon. She carries out regular client and home care reviews to ensure care plans are up to date and that we’re supporting people in the best possible way.

She also completes support visits, supervisions and appraisals with carers, helping to ensure care is delivered safely, confidently and to a high standard. Alongside this, Paige supports client wellbeing through initiatives such as the Whzan Box, helping clients feel comfortable and supported at home.

During a routine visit, one of our carers noticed that a client seemed unsettled. It soon became clear why, there was a mouse in the property.

Recognising how unsettling this was for the client, our carer remained calm, offered reassurance, and took practical steps to resolve the situation. The mouse was safely captured and released back into the wild, allowing our client to relax again in the comfort of their own home.

Our client later surprised our carer with a bouquet of flowers and a thank-you card, a small but meaningful gesture that showed just how much his support was appreciated.

"As a family we were looking for extra support in their home for my elderly parents and we have certainly chosen very well! All the staff from first contact with the office have been very efficient and so understanding of their needs. The carer assigned has been the same each time and she is amazing. She has made dad feel really comfortable with his personal care despite him being unsure of any requirement being needed. The carer is so kind to both mum and dad. Staying in their own home is their priority and we now feel this is possible with the help being provided. Cannot recommend the service provided by Right at Home enough."

Shiane leads all of our marketing and the initial stages of recruitment here at Right at Home Swindon. She manages recruitment campaigns, screens and interviews applicants, makes job offers, and helps create a welcoming first experience for everyone joining the team.

She also plans and coordinates events, supports networking, and builds connections within the local community.
