We carefully match those we support with a small team of Carers, emphasising consistency so a meaningful connection can form. We always strive to deliver the standard of care that we'd be happy for members of our own family to receive, going beyond day-to-day tasks and fostering emotional wellbeing and enhancing quality of life.

"We researched care companies and decided on Right at Home for out parents care. The initial assessment was thorough, reviewing needs of our Dad and Mum separately. The communication has been good with the management side and actual carers. My parents have already built relationships with a few of the carers and the enjoy the company, as well as care. My sister and I find the app and care notes beneficial. The last review was useful to follow up on anything missing. Thank you."

Some birthdays deserve a little extra magic 💗🎈
This month, Denise went above and beyond to make sure one of our lovely clients felt truly celebrated. After hearing she was upset about not having a party this year, Denise turned the day into a full birthday surprise — pink balloons, banners, presents, matching bracelets and of course chocolate cake.
It was not just about decorations. It was about making someone feel valued, remembered and special in their own home.

Meet Abbie 👋

Abbie joined Right at Home Swindon in June 2018 as a carer and has grown with the service ever since. From Team Leader to Care Coordinator, then Deputy Care Manager, she stepped into the role of Registered Manager in October 2023.

Abbie oversees the day to day running of the service, ensuring the care we provide is safe, high quality and person centred. She leads and supports our team, manages assessments and care planning, and ensures we meet all Care Quality Commission standards so clients and their families can feel confident in the care they receive.

Her vision is simple but powerful. For clients, she wants every individual to feel safe, valued, respected and truly listened to, with care that promotes dignity, independence and choice. For our carers, she is committed to building a culture of kindness, professionalism and continuous learning where everyone feels supported and proud of the care they deliver.

Outside of work, Abbie enjoys spending time with family and friends. With two teenage children, life is busy with theme park trips, rugby matches and plenty of cheering from the sidelines.
