So I’ve just wrapped up our 6am and 7am sessions at Absolutely Fit Studio we spoke about DOMS and cheat meals.

That post-session soreness you feel?
That’s not lactic acid, it’s tiny muscle repair happening as your body adapts and gets stronger.

And we also talked about cheat meals.
Our nutrition plans aren’t strict to the point you fall off. Processed foods don’t help your goals, but we plan them in so food stays realistic.

You can still enjoy your favourite foods, stay consistent, and get results because this is about longevity, not short-term dieting.

That’s why this program has worked for 17 years here at Absolutely Fit.

Train smart. Eat realistically. Get results.

So I’ve just wrapped up our 6am and 7am sessions at Absolutely Fit Studio

Quick accountability from today’s sessions, I talked about about water, especially here in the UK.

Most people aren’t dehydrated from heat, and yes, processed foods contain water, but that’s not what water is for on our program.

Water is about digestion, enzyme production, and nutrient transport.

If water intake is low, digestion slows, nutrients don’t move properly, and the body actually holds onto water, not lose it.

Fat loss is a chemical process, and chemical reactions need water.
So better water intake helps switch the body into fat oxidation, not storage.

Little and often, that’s how water works for results.

So I’ve just wrapped up our 6am and 7am sessions at Absolutely Fit

Quick accountability from today’s sessions, we talked about leptin and protein.

Leptin is your body’s fat-loss permission hormone.
It tells your brain: ‘We’ve got enough energy, it’s safe to use fat as energy (Oxidation of body fat.)

When leptin sensitivity is poor, hunger stays high and fat loss slows, even if you’re training hard.

Now protein, protein doesn’t build muscle by itself.
Hormones like testosterone and growth hormone do that.

Protein’s real job is to provide amino acids, the building blocks that repair muscle, protect lean tissue, and control appetite.

So fat loss works best when leptin signalling is strong and protein intake is consistent.

This isn’t dieting, it’s supporting your biology. 🧬
