Today I took the day off to join my children on their whole-school trip to the theatre — and honestly, it was worth every second. ❤️

The sound of them singing on the coach was immense 🙉 but brought such a smile to my face, hearing their joy and excitement 😃

I’ve always loved theatre. There’s something magical about watching a story come alive on stage, but nothing compares to seeing it reflected in your children’s faces… the awe, the excitement, the laughter that bubbles up before they can stop it. Moments like these remind me how precious their sense of wonder is — and how important it is that they can hear every note, every whisper, every part of the experience.

Grateful for a day full of magic and the sounds that make it unforgettable. 🎭✨

Also a huge well done to all the cast and crew at the Wyvern theate for a fabulous show!

It was lovely catching up with the ladies at latte today at Chisledon House Hotel for a delicious lunch and annual Christmas get together. Great turn out with 18 of us for lunch. Thank you for organising everything Sue and fantastic quiz, raffle and prizes by Paulyne.

🌟 Deaf Awareness in School Matters 🌟

This evening we had parents evening for our two beautiful boys. Thankfully they are thriving and doing well, but this isn’t the case for everyone.
Every child deserves to learn, communicate, and thrive in an environment where they feel understood, included and respected for who they are.

Deaf awareness in schools means more than just understanding hearing loss—it’s about teaching staff and students deaf-friendly communication strategies and creating a classroom culture where everyone can fully participate. Small changes, like using clear visual cues or ensuring good seating positions, can make a big difference in a deaf student’s day.

By fostering awareness and inclusion, we help build stronger, more compassionate school communities. 💙

Today, we pause to remember and honour all those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.
Their courage, resilience, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

We are proud to support and fit hearing aids to our veterans from the UK Veteran Hearing foundation and the wider community — helping ensure that every story, every moment of silence, and every word of gratitude can be heard clearly.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. ❤️
