Hi everyone, we hope you are enjoying this sunny weather!
SAM are registered with a fundraising organisation called Easyfundraising, and they make it so when you buy things from certain websites (all safe ones), that website makes a donation to SAM without it costing you a penny.
At the moment they have an Easter egg hunt on, every day there is a clue to solve and if you find the egg it enters SAM in a draw to win £200!
If you're interested in signing up for Easyfundraising, it can be installed as an app on your phone, or an extension on your laptop, then when you visit certain sites (e.g. Etsy, B&Q) it will pop up with a message asking if you would like that site to donate to us.
If you are not sure how to get this on your phone or computer next time you are in SAM house or at Tea and Chat we can help with that.
The writing below is from Easyfundraising:
Time is running out to help Swindon Advocacy Movement win £1,000 by entering 's Egg Hunt. Plus, there are daily chances to win £100 or £200 donations for us!
It’s completely free. Just solve the clue and find the egg on their website or app every day this week before it ends on April 5th.
If you're not supporting us on easyfundraising yet, now's the perfect time to get involved:

SAM were happy to be invited to the House Of Lords for afternoon tea to celebrate the work of organisations for people with learning disabilities and autism 😀
It was a lovely day and we met some lovely people.
We met and heard a speech from Lord Palmer who supports people with learning disability and autism.
The tea was lovely too ☕😀

SAM - Swindon Advocacy Movement

What do we do?

Working alongside people with Autism, mental health issues, learning disabilities and dementia; SAM challenges inequality and social injustice. SAM's advocacy work informs a society where everybody is welcome and equal. Empowering people to stand up their for their rights and informing others about equality, SAM really makes a difference to the people they work for.
