Throughout our lives, a caring touch is fundamental to our health and sense of wellbeing. About me....
I'm married with two children and mad about massage! After deciding to leave the office world and go in a new direction and do something I felt passionate about, I retrained as a massage therapist. I qualified in February 2003 and began running my own mobile business. I then took a break of a few years to luckily live a life even more leisurely half way around the world! I'm now back in Blighty & ready to get my hands back to work :-)
I work from home as well as being fully mobile, so if you prefer I can bring my couch and everything I need to you. (*Due to covid I am currently only working from my treatment room at home.) I'm fully qualified and insured. Gift Vouchers are also available.

I do not mind apt changes at all but please try & give me as much notice as you can in the lead up to Christmas, obviously cancelling/rearranging due to illness etc is perfectly fine, these things happen.

Honestly I went to sleep Monday night & all of a sudden it was Friday morning...where'd that week go!? 😮😆

A cpl of questions I've had...
Yes you can still use/buy gift vouchers, they usually have an expiry date of 3 months after purchase anyway but obviously will need to be used by the end of March '26.
No 'Special of the Month' for Nov but look out for a treat In Dec! 🎄
And no I can't give you a rubbish massage so you don't miss me as much! 🤣

💫 A Heartfelt Thank You & A New Chapter 💫

After nearly 23 amazing years as a self-employed massage therapist, I’ve decided that March 2026 will mark the end of my professional life with ‘Rub Rub Relax’. Since February 2003, I’ve had the privilege of working from home & pre covid, in some of your homes too. I’ve welcomed so many of you into my space & have felt so lucky to share your stories, your lives, your healing & much more!
It’s been more than just a job… it’s been a calling, a joy, & a true honour & I’ve loved every moment, well maybe apart from all the towel washing, oil stains & occasional weird phone calls, but joking aside, I’m deeply grateful to each & every client who’s trusted me with their care over the years. I’ve no idea of how many treatments I’ve done, I sort of wish I’d kept count now! It can be hard physically & mentally… & my hands are starting to get tired guys & I feel the time is right to bring this to an end.
This isn’t goodbye just yet… I’ll be working right up until the end of March 2026, so there’s still time for those final treatments if you need/want to book in.
Believe me when the time comes, I’ll be closing this chapter with a full heart, a deep sense of pride & lots of lovely memories. When I set up ready to do my very first client back in ’03, I had no idea where it would take me & didn’t even know if I’d get enough clients to keep going…but keep going I did, it grew slowly through word of mouth & many a door dropped leaflet back in pre-Facebook days! I’ve massaged here in my treatment room at home, in offices, lugged my (quite heavy couch!) up many a flight of stairs & through narrow spaces, I’ve worked at Pamper Days, various events & have even signed an NDA! I somehow got my little business through covid, just, & came out the other side different, but in a good way, just glad I still had a business when some others weren’t so lucky.
I’ve met so many lovely people, gained new friends & we’ve shared so much, there’s been laughter, tears & the odd gentle snore & I’ll come away honestly feeling so lucky to have been able to say I loved my ‘work’, being able to fit work in & around my life for the past 20 plus years has honestly at times been a life saver.
I hope this news doesn’t bring too many sad faces… though I know some of you might feel a little sad, please know how much you’ve all meant to me, & how grateful I am for the time we’ve shared
Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to rest, less towel washing & whatever comes next.

I qualified in February 2003 and am mainly home based and am not taking on any new MOBILE clients currently. I'm fully qualified and insured. Also I have since added Hopi Ear Candling to my repertoire. Gift Vouchers are available.
