Last night, St Margaret's Parish Church hosted a beautiful and heartfelt Christmas memorial service. Over 250 attendees filled the church, creating a poignant atmosphere dedicated to honouring lost loved ones.

The ceremony featured a touching roll call of remembrance, with a candle lit and a star hung on a beautiful Christmas tree in memory of each individual.

David Butterfield contributed a reading from the Bible, and members of the Butterfields team joined the congregation in singing traditional Christmas carols. The solemn yet uplifting service concluded with warm refreshments and homemade mince pies kindly donated by Wath-Upon-Dearne Tesco in the Community providing a moment of comfort and fellowship for all who attended. 🎄⭐️❤️

We’re pleased to announce the return of Light a Candle this Christmas!

Taking part in this Christmas’s Light a Candle gives you the opportunity to create online memorials throughout the festive period.

Christmas is a special time to celebrate with family and friends, and our virtual candles are a thoughtful way to pay tribute to loved ones who are no longer with us.

We'll be sharing virtual candles on our page between 15 and 21 December. There's no cost for you or your family to get involved and create an online memorial.

This beloved Butterfields tradition offers families a dedicated space for quiet reflection—a chance to hang a message of love and remembrance for those no longer with us during this family-focused time of year.
