How did we get here?! 🥹
Well… of course we know how we got here, because of you guys.
Thanks to YOU, our ridiculously wonderful friends, families, and cheerleading community, our Jess was voted Most Loved Activity Leader in East England and if that wasn’t enough, out of the entire UK, she went on to become one of the ten finalists.
Now, did Jess strut back through our doors clutching a shiny trophy? Not this time.
But the real award has always been the community built in the room. The little faces that light up when she walks in. The parents who feel welcomed, supported, and seen. The friendships, the fun, the confidence, the laughs, the mess, (oh the MESS!) the stories, and the moment-making magic of stay & play every single week.
For the past 2 years, Jess has poured her heart into creating spaces where children feel safe to explore and grown-ups feel like they’ve finally found their people. And she does this consistently, not just in the magic of our stay & play classes at The Hub, but right across our Charnwood Nursery and Preschool group too.
Whether she’s leading forest school adventures through mud, bugs and big mushroom discoveries, delivering parent-and-child sessions at beyond the forest, or creating activities that bring connection, confidence and curiosity… The impact she’s had isn’t measured in trophies, it’s measured in memories, milestones, and a community that genuinely, loudly, proudly loves her.
So no, she didn’t bring home a trophy…
She brought home something bigger.
The knowledge that she’s doing work that matters.
And we couldn’t be prouder if we tried 🖤
Thank you for voting. Thank you for supporting. Thank you for turning this little teeny tiny part of the UK into something truly special. And most of all… thank you for proving that childhood magic will always be human-made.
