If you've been trying to quit smoking and found it hard, it's because you've been thinking of yourself as an ex-smoker.

An ex-smoker will always be craving for ci******es, when you're out for drinks with friends, after a good meal, when you're feeling stressed or emotional, or after the pleasures of having s*x πŸ˜‰πŸ˜„

But a non-smoker never feels like having a smoke, in fact a non-smoker could never even imagine lighting one up!

I trust the universe is always giving us signs. You just need to keep your eyes open.

When you have something on your mind that you want an answer to or guidance on, just ask yourself and then forget about it.
Leave it for your subconscious to work out.

And when you're the least expecting, it often just pops into your head.

For me it often happens when I'm walking my dog in the nature. My mind gets cleared and I'm in a kind of meditative state. Today it was this little heart on my path that made me realise I got the answer I was waiting for.

Have you tried using your will power and positive thinking to change the way you eat? Or something else in your life.
Only to find out it's not worked. Or, works for a while and then you fall back to your old habits and thought patterns.

The reason positive thinking doesn't work is, because it uses conscious mind. Conscious mind is the one that does all the thinking.
But our subconscious is like a tape player that records all our experiences and the plays them back as programmes.

And here comes the important bit, two of them.

1. As an information processor the subconscious mind is 1 million times more powerful than our thinking mind, the conscious mind, the one that you use foe doing all the positive thinking with.

2. In daily bases the subconscious mind runs our biology 95-99% of the time. So it plays back those ood programmes that often are negative or limiting.

Therefore, no matter how hard you try to use positive thinking and your will power to change your behaviour patterns, nothing changes because as soon as you lose focus ( and studies show even an adult can stay focused only 20 mins max on average) you go back to being ran by your subconscious programming, the one you're trying to change.

And since that subconscious programme is 1 million times more powerful than your conscious mind, it's a losing battle.

This is where the power of hypnosis lies. In the state of hypnosis you can access your subconscious mind directly and start reprogramming it.

14 years ago this Viking Fairy Warrior was born into this world in the most tranquil and easy settings.
We were so lucky to get to have the birthing experience in Finland where hospital staff were super professional and gave me the space for using hypnobirthing.
Safi was born in total deep relaxation where I felt no pain or discomfort through out the whole birthing process from the start of the contractions till about 7 hours later when I breathed her out. It was wonderful.

And the truth is, that is exactly what birth is supposed to be like. It's not supposed to be laborious nor painful. It's a natural function that our bodies have been designed to go through.
Just like animals, they are totally calm and breath out their babies.

But, since the medical practice, doctors (read men) took over the birthing, named it labour and turned it into a medical condition and made women give birth lying on their backs, we have come to expect birthing to be painful and unnatural, something that needs to be medicated and done as an operation.

All that is a lie and another way men have taken over the control for something women intuitively were able to do.

The truth is, giving birth is not painful or difficult for women if only we were taught to understand the process and listen to our intuition and our bodies.
Whenever you exercise, your muscles don't hurt (normally) as you're doing it, they may however get sore next day. It's exactly the same with all the muscles involved in birthing, opening and pushing an squeezing the uterus are just doing the job they were designed to do. It's not painful at all for them to do their job, unless you have been programmed to believe all the lies about labour. These beliefs create fear around birthing, after all, who wouldn't be scared of something that is very painful and can last for hours if not days!
And fear is the biggest obstacle for being relaxed and allowing your body to do what it was designed to do. Fear creates tension and tension creates resistance and pain.

Luckily people are becoming more aware of alternatives like hypnobirthing.

And it all starts with the mind.

Small steps make a difference, start with a little bit better feeling thought. And build from there.

For example:
Things could be worse,
It's not that bad actually,
I'm starting to move to the right direction,
There's actually several things I can do to improve this situation...

Do you notice how each sentence feels a bit better?

The more positive you start thinking, the more momentum it starts gathering and the more you start attracting positive things in your life.

But sometimes we all can need some help to get on the right track.
And that's totally OK.
