Coming back from holiday to find this in the post has made my day. The online training and written essays challenged my brain somewhat and was a big commitment on many of the weekends between October and May.

The Diploma has enhanced my expertise and expanded my knowledge for working with neurodiverse clients (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia, as well as neurodiversity acquired through traumatic brain injury).

The Greenane Centre is a Leading Psychotherapy & Mental Health CPD Training Provider based in Ireland and offered a very supportive and inclusive learning environment. I met some amazing fellow therapists, now great contacts to have.

ADHD show up very differently in women and can often be diagnosed later in life. Women are also very adept at masking.

More likely to show external symptoms
• Hyperactivity
• Impulsivity
• Restlessness

Often diagnosed earlier due to more obvious behavioural signs

👩🏼 Women
More likely to show internal symptoms
• Inattention
• Overthinking
• Emotional overwhelm

Often misdiagnosed with anxiety or depression

Many don’t receive a diagnosis until adulthood

Raising awareness of these differences helps more people access the support they’ve been missing.
