At Whitewater Loddon PCN we are lucky to have two fantastic Social Prescribers who are employed by British Red Cross to assist our patients on our behalf.

Social prescribers are healthcare professionals who connect patients to non-medical resources and services within their community to address social, emotional, and practical needs that may be impacting their health and well-being. This approach is part of a holistic, patient-centred care model that recognizes the importance of social determinants of health, such as loneliness, housing, employment, and lifestyle.

🌸 Menopause Support – Virtual Group Clinic

Experiencing menopause symptoms and looking for guidance?

Mid Hampshire Healthcare is now offering a virtual menopause group clinic for women aged 45–65.

The session will be led by a menopause specialist and will cover treatment options. Where appropriate, HRT can also be started or adjusted in a supportive group setting.

Our Dr Ward is undertaking the Bright Equipment Lapland Arctic Ultra this week. This involves dragging a 20/30kg pulk within 10 days, over Swedish Arctic terrain for 500km and temperatures often reaching below -20C!!
We are so proud of her, especially as she is raising funds to buy much needed equipment for our frailty team, which will make such a difference to our most frail and housebound patients.
