April is testicular cancer awareness month.

Testicular cancer starts in one of the testicles. It can affect anyone who has testicles, including men, transgender (trans) women and people assigned male at birth. It is most likely to happen between the ages of 25 and 40.

The most common symptom is a lump or swelling in a testicle, or a dull ache, pain, or heaviness in the sc***um.

National Feet Week (17-23 April) takes place every year and asks everyone to prioritise their foot health.

If you have a toothache, you would visit the dentist, if you had trouble with your vision then you would automatically call on an optician. What about your feet?

Make National Feet Week a time to have your feet checked or to get that niggling issue sorted and make your feet your priority – after all they take you anywhere you want to go 👣

Basingstoke Sports Centre are hosting a Parkinson’s Awareness Event on Tuesday 28th April from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Parkinson's UK will be delivering an informative talk, and there will be a discussion around the importance of exercise for people living with Parkinson’s, including a short demonstration of balance exercises.
From 2:00pm to 3:00pm, there will be an open session for anyone who would like to try table tennis. The fantastic Move Suite will also be available for attendees to explore and use.
