We remain closed this week for the Easter holidays, but there's still lots to do in Tamworth

Don't forget, if you are looking for something to do in the holidays, all this week we are running a number of special activities for children and families at St. Editha's.

As well as enjoying the magnificent architecture and beautiful windows, children can make their own Easter garden as well as decorating wooden crosses to hang up at home. There will also be an Easter egg hunt through the church!

Children can even take a peek down in the 12th century crypt, full of medieval wall writing, stone vaults and occasional spooky noises ( note to grown ups: it's just the boiler! :D )

Open every day 10am - 2pm - and all FREE!

Palm Sunday Planting to celebrate the end of our fabulous project with the Leyfields community and St Andrews Methodist Church- Thank you to everyone who braved the rain today, those who provided us with a warm meal, those who came along to our craft sessions to design the garden, thank you to all the safety seekers who have helped build the planters and thank you to Etheline for the stunning plants 👑 Community collaborations 👑 improving social isolation and community cohesion. Happy Easter all 🥰🙏🏼

Our incredible volunteers have delivered 167 booked sewing appointments so far in 2026!

Watching all our sewists develop their skills week on week is a delight with many of our young sewers progressing into full garment design to completion of wearable items.
