This evening we celebrated 110 year of St John Ambulance Tamworth serving the local community. We took a little trip back in time with some of our cadets and adults wearing old uniforms that St John People be for wood have wore. We even dig back through the archives to find old photos and news articles dating back to when Tamworth Division of the St John Ambulance Brigade was formed in 1915.

We always consider it a huge honour to parade on Remembrance Sunday. The debt that we owe to all who have served in times of conflict is one that can never fully be repaid.

Amongst the many who gave their lives, we honour the 1,077 St John Ambulance volunteers who died in service to our country during World War One.

On Remembrance Sunday, volunteers from Tamworth Network will join the parade, which starts on Market St and travels to the cenotaph at St Edithas Church. Following the Service of Remembrance we parade through the town.

Whilst we remember the fallen, it will always be our duty to take care of those who need us. If you are out on parade and feel unwell, our volunteers will be on hand to help.

Pro Fide, Pro Utilitate Hominum.

We will remember them.
