We loved working with years 4,5 and 6 children today at Woodside Primary school. Exploring what it means and feels like to belong and the importance of being kind.

🩷Today we led our first parent workshop for Children's Mental Health Week ,🩷

We shared with parents the importance of creating a safe environment for children to share their true self. Showing strategies to connect with you child, no matter what their age! Encouraging active listening and curiosity in our children.

🙌this was a proud moment for us... and we are so excited to see where this goes! 🥰

This week is Children's Mental Health Week. The theme for this year is all about belonging.

Does your child feel safe in their settings.
Do you allow time for active listening and discussions.
Do you feel good in yourself?

ALWAYS remember to praise your children, even for the smallest achievement ,this helps to build their self esteem and confidence and allows them to feel good about themselves!

🩷Spend a few moments each day trying to get to know something new about each other.
🩷Play a game.
🩷Watch a film.
🩷 Digital free talking.
