SIGHT TESTS & OPTOMETRY SERVICES AVAILABLE AGAIN FROM TUESDAY 30TH JUNE 2020
We are delighted to resume regular optometry services next week in line with Optometry in N.I. moving from the Red to Amber phase of COVID-19 service guidance on 29th June 2020.
Thank you to all who have enquired about sight tests over the past several weeks.
As you know, we have been in the practice throughout the pandemic to provide Essential & Urgent Eye care, along with delivering emergency repairs/spectacles to those shielding. Thankfully, now that some restrictions have been relaxed, we welcome back those of you who have been waiting for an eye examination or to choose new glasses.
Please telephone on 028 3898 4170 to book an appointment.
(We request you please telephone to arrange a time for all visits so that we can maintain a safe practice environment for everyone)
To minimise risks and enhance your safety some of the measures we are now adopting include:
- PPE (IIR masks, gloves, apron & visors worn as required)
- Plastic shields on test-room equipment & reception.
- Asking all visitors to use hand sanitiser station provided.
- Providing Social Distancing signs and guidance.
- Offering one-to-one visits so fewer people are present in practice at one time.
- Longer appointment times to enhance cleaning & disinfection between patients and to provide dedicated one-to-one practice services.
- Cleaning/disinfecting equipment & display items between patients.
- Offering remote consultations and services where possible & triaging COVID-19 risk status of all visitors.
We look forward to giving a warm welcome (despite the face masks!) to our customers in these next weeks. If you would like to make a booking or need advice please give us a call.
Best wishes & stay safe,
Scott & Christine
