As the summer season starts we hope that everyone is well and enjoying the warmth, light and life all around us at this great time of year. We have Amy's final installment for you so here is how things went for her:
'What a roller coaster rider IVF treatments are!! We had quite a journey this time, what with the clinic leaving essential things right up until the last minute to trying to organise all the various appointments and medications needed. We got there in the end, and the clinic said that as far as they were concerned we had the perfect cycle. We ended up with 4 viable eggs, 2 of which took and reached the blastocyst stage by day 5. One of the embryos was Grade 1 AAA and the other was Grade 2 BBB so no wonder the staff at the clinic were so excited for us. After the interminable 2 week wait we had a negative result. It seems amazing that everything can go your way and you can have the very best ingredients but that doesn't necessarily lead to a pregnancy. I remember a friend of mine saying to me that the human body is not a machine and she was so right! We have reached the end of our IVF journey so our last hope is that a miracle might happen and we might fall pregnant naturally. One thing is for sure, I will be back to see Jeanette. She was just the most incredible support throughout the whole process and is still keeping an eye on me even now, for which I am very grateful! Thanks to her my body was in the best of places and the clinic commented on the excellent quality of my eggs. I know that this is thanks to Jeanette. When I compare our two rounds of IVF and I look at the differences between the two they were so very different. The second one was so much better in every way and I know that is thanks to Jeanette, her treatments, her support and for pointing out things in my body that needed addressing. And when I look at how I coped with the loss after both rounds I completely fell apart after the first attempt whereas this time I am grieving but I am functioning and I can see good things on the horizon. Jeanette, I just can't thank you enough for everything your incredible treatments have been truly life changing on every level and I just wish that everyone could come and see you, you make such a huge difference, thank you. And to anyone out there who is trying for a baby I wish you all the very best of luck, stay strong, stay positive, keep faith.'

Here we are in April already, this year certainly is flying by! We hope that everyone is well and that 2019 is bringing you all the best of everything.

As I've been driving to work it's been just wonderful to see signs of spring everywhere and especially the lambs starting to appear. As everything bursts back into life and new life emerges my thoughts have been with Amy as she prepares for her final round of IVF. She has been back to see Jeanette for the final time before she starts her IVF journey and she has asked me to share her experience with you:

'I can't believe how quickly this year is going by! Suddenly we're in April and the time is fast approaching for our final attempt with IVF.

I was thinking back to January, how low I was feeling at that time and what a mess I was in physically, mentally and emotionally. Looking back on the past few months it's been quite a journey! Back in January I just couldn't face going through the whole IVF process again, so much so that I walked away from it. My husband and I talked things through and we decided to leave it. He completely understood that I couldn't face the injections, blood tests, scans and the possibility that after all of that we might have another negative result. So in January we decided that we wouldn't try again.

Thank heavens for Jeanette.

Thanks to her amazing treatments, her patience, wisdom support and encouragement not only is my body back and ready to face the process but mentally I feel strong enough to face the roller coaster ride that lies ahead of us.

For anyone who is wondering what it is that Jeanette has to offer there are lots of things that I have found have been a huge help to me. Her treatments are very specific and she highlighted areas of my body that were in need of help. For instance, she was able to tell me that my adrenal glands were depleted (which would explain my fatigue, lack of sleep and a whole host of other symptoms) and my pituitary gland was sluggish. Jeanette worked hard on those areas and her TLC in conjunction with changes in my diet, taking the right sort of exercise and supplements has resulted in me feeling better than I have done in a long time! Last week Jeanette was able to say that both are now functioning normally and how I feel definitely reflects that.

But it's not just physical benefits that Jeanette can help with. She listened, really listened and she asked me some questions that really made me look inside, focus, think and, as a result, heal. Going into round 2 I feel much better prepared mentally than I did for round 1. I'm going in with a positive attitude but also a tempered one, there are no guarantees but that small glimmer of hope is worth pursing and I don't want to look back on my life and regret not having given it just one more try.

I just want to wish anyone who is trying for a baby right now all the very best of luck and please do get in touch with Jeanette she has been such an incredible help to me and I am very grateful!'

Hello Everyone

We hope that 2019 is proving to be a great year for you all and that you are enjoying the start of Spring. It's wonderful to see new life bursting everywhere and the hope that it brings.

It's time for the next update from Amy and I thought of her as I turned my calendar over at the start of March as the time for her second round of IVF is drawing close! Here's what she has shared with us:

'It's been an interesting start to the New Year! After I saw Jeanette at the beginning of January I experienced what I can only describe as a bit of a melt down! My hormones and cycle were all over the place, I was exhausted and tearful all the time and the thought of going through another cycle of injections and drugs and the risk that it might not work again filled me with dread.

I had another period after only 21 days in January and as it started Jeanette sent me an email asking me how I was doing. I don't know how she knew that I was in trouble but her timing was perfect! I made an appointment to see her and she could see from the moment that she opened her door to me that I was in a bit of a mess! She was just amazing, so calm and patient and listened carefully to where I was at. She said that she could feel that my hormones were all out of balance, that my pituitary gland wasn't working well and my adrenal glands were depleted. After yet another amazing treatment, a few tears and some very wise and encouraging words from Jeanette, I left feeling so much calmer and more peaceful. She encouraged me not to worry about the next round of IVF, she very wisely advised me to just concentrate on looking after me and that no decisions needed to be made just yet. She reminded me that trying for a baby is a journey and there are twists and turns along the way but it's important to keep taking those little steps.

After I left Jeanette that day I haven't looked back! My hormones have calmed right down, my cycle is back in balance and mentally I am feeling ready to face the injections and to give IVF one more try. After consulting with the clinic we have decided to post pone until April, just to give my body more time to recover and mentally I feel I need just a little more time to make sure that I am ready to face the IVF roller coaster ride once again.

I can't recommend Jeanette's healing treatments enough! If you're feeling a bit low, a bit lacking in energy, if you're facing a big decision, if you feel out of balance or you just need some TLC, that hour with Jeanette is just invaluable and for me it has been life changing!'

Happy New Year everyone! We hope that you had a lovely Christmas and that you are enjoying a fantastic start to 2019.

Amy has been back to see Jeanette for her second visit and has kindly shared her experience with us:

'After my first visit with Jeanette I felt amazing so I was really looking forward to seeing her again. She is so lovely and welcoming and her treatment room is such a gorgeous place to be, it is just brimming with peace and positivity so it's such a treat to see her!

Over the Christmas break I really took on board what Jeanette had said and I focused on resting and just enjoying (and reconnecting with Hubby, which was much needed!). I felt much stronger physically, mentally and emotionally when I went to see her this time. She was able to confirm that my hormones are coming back into balance and she worked on stimulating various areas. We also talked through the mental and emotional side of things, I find her help and advice just invaluable! At the end she she encouraged me to remember that we are on a journey and that it could still happen naturally! I left feeling so calm and focused but mainly peaceful and confident.

The clinic have advised us that our consultant is away on holiday next month so the earliest that we can try again is March. Jeanette explained that she likes to see people 3 times so I'll be back to see her again in February and then we'll see how timings work from there and whether I can squeeze in one more session in with her.

For anybody who is trying for a baby I just can't recommend Jeanette highly enough. Whether you're trying to conceive naturally or whether you're on the IVF path just give her the three sessions that she asks for, you will not believe the difference that she makes.'

Thank you so much for sharing your story with us Sarah. I can't begin to imagine what you must have been through but it is so wonderful to hear that things have turned out so amazingly for you! "I was very excited to see Jeanette for my first treatment. I felt so much better after just talking through my experience with her that I couldn't wait for her to read my body and to hear what help and advice she could offer.

Jeanette has a lovely treatment room in Taplow, it is filled with calm, peace, acceptance and love and I felt relaxed straight away. After going through my medical history Jeanette started working on my feet and reading my body and what she discovered was amazing! My acupuncturist was urging us to go ahead again in January and the way that my cycle seems to be falling we would probably be starting again on the 5th. I'm still feeling so tired and my last period was all over the place so January seemed a bit soon to me. Jeanette explained that my hormones are out of balance and that my body isn't ready. She recommended rest and relaxation and she encouraged me to just enjoy spending time with Hubby and to re-discover the fun in enjoying each other. She pointed out that I still could fall pregnant naturally. Medically the chances of success are incredibly slim but there is a tiny chance nonetheless and this is the season of miracles! At the end of the treatment Jeanette worked through a meditation with me and by the time the hour was up I was feeling so incredibly relaxed that I was struggling to put my sentences together! I drove home feeling the best that I have done in a long time. I knew that I had experienced healing and I felt calm and focused about the path ahead. My aim is to just relax and enjoy the holidays and allow my body to get back into balance and up to full strength. Knowing that we we will try again in February or even March has taken so much pressure off. I am so grateful to Jeanette, already she has helped me so much more than I an say. To my surprise I'm feeling excited and hopeful about 2019, thank you so much Jeanette!"

"Hi, my name is Amy and I'm 44 years old. I've been married for 4 and a half years and my husband and I have been trying for a baby for 3 years now. We had hoped that a vasectomy reversal would prove successful for us but after 2 years of trying we finally ended up having ICSI last month . In spite of 2 grade 1 embryos, sadly, we were unsuccessful.

There have been many successes this year. Each case has been very different from women suffering with a history of miscarriage, one with a still birth, several with no known medical problems regarding fertility disappointment, and those with known conditions, plus partners with low s***m count. It hasn't mattered what the symptoms, the common similiarities have been the same. The state of mind can and does affect the physical body. 5 months ago I started treating two women at my Wimbledon Clinic. Both trying to get pregnant for the first time. One of them had had several miscarriages, the other, it just wasn't happening. They are both now over 12 weeks pregnant. What was obvious from the start both, for various reasons were very depressed, unhappy, had lost the belief they could have a healthy pregnancy. For both of them it was important for me to rebalance the body systems which reflexology is very successful. But what makes the difference time and time again, is once they start understanding how negative thinking affects the physical body. How when I can facilitate them to make important changes - maybe concentrating on their relationship with their partners, work less, talk about their negative thought patterns, and help to change those patterns.-
