The drum altar has received the first drums of the New Year, blessed by Shaman Incense from Stag + Seer

Birthed on the Yew Full Moon, The Wolf Moon also known as the Quiet Moon this pair of very individual Red Deer Drums arrived amidst the snow and ice on this special tree moon that only occurs once every three or so years. With Birch bones they are drums of re-birth and new beginnings.

For now they rest in the dark and cool of the drying shed, awaiting their Yew wood song callers and finishing touches after a couple of weeks.

This Solstice week I've been preparing the materials for next year's Celtic Tree Journey.
Enrolment closes on Sunday and there are just two places left on this the last year that this pilgrimage will be running live with the zoom gathering circles.

And finally its time to share with you the Red Deer Drums that have also arrived in the shop this week.

Such a variety of colours and textures in this last lot of Scottish Red Deer hides that I received - they've created a really beautiful range of drums and there are a few more still to get completed, photographed, recorded and listed over the next couple of weeks.❤

Some of the lovely Reindeer drums now finally listed in the shop eagerly awaiting their guardians.

This is probable my favourite hide to work with in my drum birthings (even though I know I shouldn't have favourites) 😆 There is just something about the drum road in the lands of the north and the place of ice that calls to my heart.❤

This week in amongst the photographing, listing and recording of the drums birthed earlier during the year these two beauties also arrived.

Celebrating the Blackthorn Full Super Moon in Ta**us on Wednesday I offered a prayer to the Reindeer and the Red Deer working in deep ceremony to birth two 16" Crystal Resonance Drums, drawn to the magic of the crystal devas as we begin our descent into the dark and the earth of winter.

I haven't birthed any of these unique drums for a little while. For the Reindeer drum thirteen moonstones nestle between the birch wood frame and the hide and for the Red Deer it was four Moss Agates; as well as bringing their powerful crystal energies through the drum songs, these stones act as unique crystal drum resonators. I love weaving these beings to life - it is such a privilege and an honour to be able to work with the gifts of the land and nature in this way - I feel very blessed ❤

Now resting in drying shed they will slowly make their way into the shop once they are completed with their final binding and heart stones.

I am very excited to announce that the horse drums birthed earlier this year are now finally up in my shop.
It's been getting harder to obtain natural death horse hide as often as I used to previously so it was a really treat to receive a whole hide and a few pieces of hair on hide last winter.
After sitting with them in prayer they gradually stepped forward to be birthed through the later spring and on into summer and here you can see them in all their beauty.

I have just returned from running two amazing back to back retreats and am landing back home feeling very nourished and blessed by the women who came and dove so deep in our circles.

Here are some memories from the first retreat - The Red Moon Drum Birthing at the Autumn Equinox.

Eight beautiful, powerful and inspiring women birthed their drums in ceremony together. They wove deep medicine and womb stories into their drums undertook powerful journeys and created very special womb allies to support them on their individual paths.

Next year's dates are up and booking is open at an Early Bird price if you are called to join me to birth these very powerful and unique drums - only six places remain as already women are hearing the call!
