Sometimes you look and wonder... We have just taken a photo from yesterday's memorial service and changed it to black and white for Tarporley News. On doing so, the shadow of the War Memorial against the bush behind seems to have morphed into the silhouette of a soldier... Can you see it?

Are you attending this year's Remembrance Day service in Tarporley? The parade will set off from Burton Square at 10.15am and the service starts in St Helen's at 10.45. It is also being streamed live on Youtube and Facebook! Just search for 'Tarporley RBL'. We are expected a large number to attend, so a TV screen will be set up outside the church for those who cannot get in.

After the service, why not stroll around our nearby Memorial Walk and learn the stories of Tarporley and its residents during the First World War?
