What does a doula do?
I would never claim to be an expert.
Every woman, every pregnancy and every birth is different. We are all unique humans.
You are the expert of your own body. You know how things affect you, how you respond to things and what supports you and your feelings.
‘Doula’ is a Greek word for ‘servant’ and as your doula we are there to be ‘in service’ to you, during this time.
A doula is there to listen and be guided by the support you are feeling you need. To walk beside you.
A doula has learned wisdom about birth and pregnancy and is there to learn about yours with you.
