Next Step Independence supports children & young people aged 8-18 based in the South West of England who for whatever reason are unable to live at home with their families. The children and young people we support have often experienced high levels of trauma, neglect, and crisis in their young lives, resulting in them experiencing complex challenges. This can lead to multiple placements moves and instability, leaving them feeling unsettled, scared and often unwanted. We believe that through the support of resilient, professional team members and in the right environment, every child and young person can thrive and reach their full potential.
