My Day - Day Services for Adults with Learning Disabilities Activities take place either in our hubs or the community.

My Day is a service based in Taunton, Bridgwater and the surrounding area which offers daily inclusive activities for adults with learning difficulties.

Tuesday Highlights 🌟

~A big congratulations to Meg for being our Chef of the Week! She impressed us all by making delicious chocolate brownies and showing fantastic skills in the kitchen. 👩‍🍳🍫
~For World Cultures, we explored Australia 🇦🇺 — tasting Tim Tams, fairy bread, and Mountain Dew! Students also created their own passports and coloured in the Australian flag.
~The Farm Crew enjoyed some sunshine, looking very cool as they relaxed outdoors. ☀️
~In Art, students brought in items from home and created pencil drawings while listening to Mozart — a wonderfully calm and creative session. 🎨🎶
Our Tuesday Book Club had a lovely time at the library, choosing new books and enjoying some quiet reading together. 📚
~There was no slowing down in the gym either — everyone worked incredibly hard! 💪
~ A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Easter raffle draw, and congratulations to all our winners! 🎉
~Finally, the Oaks Crew had a fantastic time on their Easter egg hunt 🐣🐰 — a perfect way to round off the day!

Our project this month has been all about China 🇨🇳

Over the past few weeks, everyone has been busy creating their own beautiful Chinese dragons and pearls, while learning all about Chinese New Year and the tradition of the dragon dance.
Today, we brought everything together by designing our own posters and performing our very own dragon dances! 🐉✨

It was such great fun and enjoyed by all — a fantastic way to celebrate everything we’ve learned! 🎉

What an amazing surprise for Colin this morning! 💙

Support worker Karen got in contact with his favourite Gladiator, Sabre, telling her Colin was a top Fan. Sabre went above and beyond and sent him a signed photo with the message:

“To Colin, stay wild, with love from Sabre.”

He was absolutely thrilled — it completely made his day! He’s already said he’s going to kiss her goodnight 😂

Moments like this are just so special. Thank you, Sabre, for making Colin so happy! 💫

Students have been designing and creating their own tabletop games from scratch—and today marked the final stage, where they showcased their work. The creativity, effort, and dedication they’ve put in has been incredible to see.
