What a great few hours this was giving people skills that could save a life.

First aid is rarely done in a classroom.

It’s done in pubs and nightclubs surrounded by people who think they know better.

It’s done on the side of the road when it’s dark and pouring down with rain.

It’s done on the grass in playgrounds.

It’s done on the beach with sand getting everywhere.

Learn the dirty side of first aid and be prepared!

Last night we hosted our first Community First Aid course at The Waggon 🙌
And honestly… it went down really well.

Huge thanks to Dan from Olive Tree Training, our instructor and partner in all of this – relaxed, informative, and absolutely not a PowerPoint bore. This is proper first aid: open discussion, real scenarios, and genuinely hands-on learning.

This is awesome.

Both are on the outside wall of a Co-op in Taunton.

But, how many people know how to use them?

The AED will talk you through its use but tourniquets, heamostatics etc don’t.
