Results you can see and your dog can feel!

While I originally discovered canine massage through agility and sought treatment to help Poppy’s performance, both I and Poppy gained so much more from it, a career change for me and a long term improved quality of life for Poppy.

Clinical canine massage is a results driven therapy, with results seen in 1 - 3 sessions. Members of the Canine Massage Guild work with your vet, and will either report back great results, or refer back if there isn’t an expected improvement. So when Poppy improved but then relapsed quickly, we were referred straight back to our vet. An early diagnosis of Spondylosis helped to manage the condition effectively, and I absolutely credit massage with keeping Poppy full of bounce and relatively pain free for far longer than expected.

I love working with dogs who have started to slow down and show signs of ageing, where walks are having to be shortened and owners are resigning themselves to the fact they now have an old dog. Seeing these dogs full of life, with their bounce and cheekiness back is so rewarding.

General signs of ageing, unexplained lameness and chronic orthopaedic conditions all respond really well to massage. If you want to know more about how massage can help your dog, get in touch today.
