💤 Helping Your Child & Teen Sleep: Tools, Tips & Techniques 💤
You asked, we listened — and we’re launching a brand new webinar for parents and carers. Sleep is a common concern, so this session is packed with practical strategies to help children and teens get better rest.

✨ As this is our first time running the session, it’s in its pilot stage, meaning we’re gathering feedback to improve it. You’ll be asked to complete a short pre- and post-evaluation form, and your input will help shape future sessions.

📘 Parents who attend will also receive a Parent Sleep Handbook via email — a helpful resource to support your family’s sleep routines.

🌄 The Somerset MHST team is on a mission to spread the mental health message far and wide — from the heights of Wellington Monument to the mystical slopes of Glastonbury Tor. Wherever you are, we’re here for you.

What if I told you everyone has an invisible stress bucket? 🪣
Some are big, some are small — and they fill up with stress from things like work, worries, and friendships.
When our bucket overflows, it can spill out as snapping, shouting, or shutting down.
But here’s the good news: stress flows out when we take care of ourselves 💧

🧠 Today is Stress Awareness Day
🎯 Your challenge: Do one thing that helps empty your bucket — go for a walk, talk to a friend, take a deep breath, or simply pause.

💬 If you're feeling overwhelmed, speak to someone you trust.
👩‍🏫 If you're worried about your child, speak to your school’s Mental Health Lead — support is there.

November is Men’s Mental Health Month
Let’s remind boys and young men what men’s mental health is 👇

1️⃣ Men’s mental health is talking.
Speaking up shows strength—not weakness.

2️⃣ Men’s mental health is feeling.
Anger, sadness, anxiety—your emotions are valid.

3️⃣ Men’s mental health is support.
You’re not alone. MHST & other services are here to help.

4️⃣ Men’s mental health is asking for help.
Bravery isn’t silence—it’s reaching out.

5️⃣ Men’s mental health is knowing you matter.
Your wellbeing, your voice, your future—it all matters.
