Acorn Homeopathy & Integrative Counselling

Acorn Homeopathy & Integrative Counselling Jacquie Haylett, Integrative Counsellor & Homeopath, supporting clients to achieve optimum health & wellbeing.

Supporting emotional health & wellbeing, inc stress, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, grief & loss, life changing transitions. Derived from natural sources homeopathic prescriptions are non-addictive and individually tailored to incorporate all physical, mental and emotional symptoms as closely as possible to stimulate a natural healing response enabling you to achieve good health naturally. During your consultation you will receive a thorough assessment where you will be supported, listened to, treated with empathy and without judgement encouraging you to have choice and control over your health and lifestyle. Using a holistic approach homeopathy differs from conventional medicine in that rather than focussing on a specific named disease/diagnosis all factors which have the potential to impact on health are taken into account, (lifestyle, environmental influences; stress factors, diet, medical history, sleep patterns, etc). If you are suffering from any condition which is having an effect on your health and general sense of well-being homeopathy may be able to help you. Homeopathy is recognised as being gentle, individualised and non-invasive. It is safe to be used for people of all ages from childhood to old age as well as during pregnancy. People visit a homeopath for the treatment of virtually any condition for which you would consult a GP. Rather than treating a named disease the homeopath will work with the aim of improving vitality and the consitutional wellbeing of the patient. If you would like to find out more about how homeopathy may benefit you or your family I offer a free (no-obligation) 15 minute pre-consultation service. Email or telephone 07974 026231 for further information. I live near Wellington, Somerset and treat patients from the local communities of the Blackdown Hills, Hemyock, Wellington, Taunton and surrounding villages. I also hold clinics in the centre of Exeter at the Southernhay Clinic, Axminster Health and Wellbeing Centre, Orchard Osteopaths, Chard, Sunseed Wellington and Toucan Wholefoods, Minehead.

Most of us are affected by bereavement and grief at some stage of our lives and everyone's experience is unique. Having signed up to on demand access I have found the speakers very interesting and I look forward to following the Good Grief Festival October 2021

Valentine’s Day is not all hearts and flowers. For many people it can feel like a stark reminder that you are alone. You may be grieving the death of a loved one or be in a relationship where you feel unhappy or have recently separated or divorced. Images of hearts, flowers and people in love can exacerbate the sense of loneliness, and isolation and this year the sense of isolation for many with Covid lockdown is even more exacerbated when you are unable to meet up and connect with friends or family, and the media is bombarded with happy loved up images which may exacerbate anxiety and depression

If you are on your own, or struggling through today then remember to be particularly kind to yourself and focus on doing something special, just for you. Unfortunately where I am the weather is pretty rubbish so not a great day to get out into the fresh air and have a walk but think what else you can do for yourself, maybe switch off social media and find other simple ways to distract yourself.

If you have a friend or family member who may be struggling through today, then pick up the phone and give them a call so they don't have to feel so alone.

Our Story

I am an experienced Homeopathic Practitioner & Integrative Counsellor who feels passionately supporting people in the best way possible to move forward through stressful and traumatic times in their lives, which may impact on health and express itself in physical, mental and emotional symptoms of anxiety; depression; digestive disorders; fatigue; irritable bowel syndrome; insomnia, etc. When working with emotional issues many clients have observed the benefits of my integrative approach, using counselling & anxiety management techniques alongside homeopathic treatment to optimise emotional health & wellbeing where indicated.

On client's request I am able to offer basic counselling and anxiety management skills alongside homeopathic treatment, or alternatively support some clients with long or short term counselling either alongside their homeopathic treatment, or completely on its own.
