We had a lovely time this morning getting in to the Christmas spirit (a little early!) by making our Christmas cakes! Complete with a little tipple for some of us🎄

Yesterday we had a fantastic visit from John from South West Heritage Trust talking about 'food and farming'. We've also had some fun games recently and made the most of the last of the summer by playing games in the courtyard. We also hosted an afternoon tea for Breast Cancer Now and enjoyed a visit from the brilliant Bunny Basket Somerset 🐰

Meet Pippa. The latest member of our wonderful team here at St George’s. Welcome Pippa, we are delighted you could join us.

🌟 Meet Pippa, who recently visited St George's Care Home to see if it would be a good fit for her. After meeting some of the wonderful residents and getting a feel for the place, Pippa was delighted to start supporting the team on weekends!

She’ll be helping serve teas, coffees, and snacks, and has already been teaching the staff a little sign language.

Pippa said, “I’m happy and really like the people here. It feels like a great place to be.”

Friday Feeling! What a lovely morning we had at the garden centre.

Thank you to the brilliant Taunton Flower Show for a fantastic afternoon last week! Also, a big thank you to St George's Church, Wilton, Taunton, for very kindly bringing some cakes with them for us to enjoy an afternoon tea outside in our garden! This week we've also been playing some word games and have had a hoot doing some arts and crafts for National Owl Day! 🦉🌼

This week we had our first homegrown tomato harvest! We also had a lovely afternoon playing a team work game with Tops Day Nurseries: Taunton Musgrove when they visited us, and have been playing some fun word games. We also played some games of table football to celebrate the women's Euros and enjoyed a good old sing along when the wonderful Joe came to sing to us
