Hummingbird Care goes on a TRIP TO SIDMOUTH ⛱️🌞🌊💨🌬 It was a very beautiful.. I mean windy afternoon! A blustery walk, nosey round the town and a nice spot o' lunch!

An afternoon filled with laughter, lunch and retail therapy 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Thank you Jacalyn Arscott for your wonderful Arts & Crafts Activity 🎨 🖌 The Resident's really enjoy the creativity you bring and also your beautiful children, who came to visit ✍️💫 We have some amazing artwork to showcase and it's amazing how everyone's unique personalities show through their individual pieces!

A lovely time this afternoon (as always,) with the fantastic Polly Frayling, our AVON lady!! 🤩🤩 We loved our facials and pampering, especially exploring all of the goodies we could buy afterwards! Even our ex-Policeman, John enjoyed some downtime, with relaxation and applying some face products! Because, WHY NOT!!! 🙅‍♀️🤷

The staff also get an opportunity to browse the AVON products whilst at work and place an order too! A wonderful community here at Hummingbird Care, bursting with life and enjoyment 💄👄💋👙

A trip to Willowbrook Garden Centre in Wellington this week for, Hummingbird Care!! THIS IS HOW WE ROLL ! 💁‍♀️💁‍♀️

Lots of fun and laughter on the car journey and much enjoyment exploring the plants and aquatic centre. More importantly, Le Cafe 😉😉 !!

HAPPY EASTER 🐰 🐣 💓 💛 From our sassy lot at Hummingbird Care !!! Good Friday brought us an extremely fun "Easter Bonnet Parade" 👒👒 We wheeled around the Care Home several times and gave ourselves an excuse to eat more chocolate 🍫 🤤

Extra shout outs go to Julie Saunders who helped with the success of the event and put in lots of planning and hard work for the hat making and treat-buying! .. Lots of planning involved also from Alison Westlake (as always,) who creeps in everywhere to provide support 💪 🦸‍♀️

Thanks on the day to, Adithyareddy Thumma, Stace KM, Margarette Mifa, and La Matatolu and of course ALL our staff anyway for being such superheros!

Lots of activity and buzz at Hummingbird Care recently!! As we head into beautiful Springtime, we can enjoy a colourful April, abundant with fresh flowers, great vibes and fun!! 💐 🐣 👒

We love to stimulate the mind and get creative with puzzles and mega blocks! 🧩 We also provide regular Therapy, including hand-massage, pedi's or polish! 💅 We also have an Easter Parade pending, so we have been decorating bonnets (blue hats for the men!) 😉 👒

The "Gossip Girls" Club for the Ladies has been a new addition (and very popular too!) Lots of Baileys, Rose Wine, Snacks, Games and Gossip!! 🙋‍♀️🙅‍♀️💁‍♀️

With an outstanding number of positive feedback from both Residents and Visitors, Alison has shone brightly over the last 3 months, going Above and Beyond. She has covered additional events and activities, moved her shifts to start earlier, accomodated transport to assist Residents to their appointments and worked beyond her primary job role (... we could go on!!) WELL DONE ALISON, THIS EOQ AWARD IS TRULY DESERVED 👏 👏 👏
