In Tavistock we're parading all things deadly and doing the Zombie Crawl on Wednesday.
Spirited ghouls and ghosties can get freaked out first having their faces painted and learning to walk & dance like a zombie.
At Halloween or All Hallows Eve we'll be carving pumpkins, trick or treating, apple bobbing, telling scary stories and indulging in yet more costume drama.
Halloween draws on its traditions from Samhain, the wheel of the year pagan festival marking the last of three harvest festivals in the pagan calender, the start of Winter and the dark months ahead.
Bonfires are lit on hillsides, our ancestors are honoured, the veil between the worlds thins, we communicate more easily with loved ones and spirits move more freely among us. Blessed Be...🧡

This weekend we're gearing up to a new moon partial solar eclipse in Virgo on Sunday preceding the Autumn Equinox and Mabon on Monday.
New moons inspire new beginnings, eclipses endings and as Nature strives for balance so do we. Allow old aspects of ourselves to fall away. Adjust to any cosmic energy recalibrations before hitting our to do lists. As Nature re-aligns it makes practical Virgo sense to hit pause.
Eclipse energies are powerful and intense requiring us to rest, retreat and recharge.
The Equinox suspends us between old and new. What we are holding onto, what we want to let go of and what we want to be illuminated by moving forwards.
Methodical Virgo calls for caution throughout, attention to detail and meticulous planning.
There's no need to rush into anything. It's enough to be fully present. To centre ourselves and connect with our core. Yoga, meditation, energy balancing, chakra realignment & time spent in Nature all help to ground us. Mabon themes of cleansing, decluttering, releasing and renewal nurture and sustain us. Get ready for tonight's celestial spectacle - a Full Corn & Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces. ♓️
A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth is between the sun and moon. As the light changes, scatters and hits the moon's surface it also takes on a reddish hue transforming into a Blood Moon.
What a great start to eclipse season as well as a sign that the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is upon us.
Meteorologically, Autumn started on September 01st but astronomically it's not until The Autumn Equinox on the 22nd when we celebrate the Wheel of the Year harvest festival, Mabon. This comes straight off the back of a New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse in Virgo. At the equinoctal point, light wanes, nights draw in and darkness gains.
The 2 weeks before and after the Equinox are also times of upheaval and change. Things can get chaotic and wild in Nature making us more prone to mood swings, exhaustion and overwhelm.
Added to this, Eclipse energies are very intense so we may feel the need to focus inwards, reflect and rest.

Happy August! The sun's in exuberant Leo and we're off to a great start having celebrated the first of 3 Wheel of the Year Harvest Festivals at Lammas on 1st.
Lammas or Lugh is the festival of first fruits. A time of gratitude and abundance. Lammas (loaf mass) bread is baked from the first harvest and we give thanks for our bounty.
On Friday, 8/8 Lionsgate, the Sun aligns with our Spiritual Star Sirius opening a cosmic portal enabling profound spiritual growth and personal transformation for all ascension seekers.
This manifestation of ancient wisdom, connection to our ancestors, healing and the divine is closely followed by the Full Moon in Aquarius on the 9th reminding us it's not so much about the Me as the We.
Time then to spread the love, become actively engaged with our communities, share our knowledge and be of service to others.
Planet Mercury helps boost our societal endeavours when it stations direct on the 11th helping remove obstacles to transport plans, issues around technology and our communication with others.
