Day Six of my

Let’s release the tension that’s built up in your neck!

Step 1 - tilt the left ear over the left shoulder, stay here, or place the right hand on top of the head to deepen the stretch. Stay here for 3 breaths.

Step 2 - tilt the chin to chest, stay here, or interlock the fingers & bring the hands behind the head. Stay here for 3 breaths.

Step 3 - tilt the right ear over the right shoulder, stay here, or place the left hand on top of the head to deepen the stretch. Stay here for 3 breaths.

Step 4 - raise the chin to the sky. Notice if the teeth are clenched, release them & let the weight of jaw gently drop.

For all you busy bods out there, THIS is the meditation for you ☕️

On Day Three of my all you need to do is make yourself a hot drink, you’re favourite if you can.

Hold the mug in your hands & feel the heat against your skin. Lift the mug to your face, to feel the steam on your cheeks. Take a deep breath in through the nose, to have a whiff of what you’ve made. How does it make you feel?

Repeat the breath as many times as you need.

Day Two of my Calm Christmas Advent 🎄 And we’re coming back to our roots.

Try this Muladhara (Root) Chakra focused flow:
- Tadasana (mountain pose)
- Anjaneyasana (low lunge)
- Balasana (child’s pose)
- Anjaneyasana (low lunge)
- Tadasana (mountain pose)
Lead with the right foot, then with the left.

While you’re in Balasana, take a moment to reflect on your Christmas traditions. As a child, which ones brought you joy? And which ones would you like to introduce to your loved ones?

One that my family still does, and I think was introduced by my grandad, is what we call “tree presents”. Essentially a Secret Santa between the family, where the gift will be opened on Christmas Eve.

IT’S HERE!!!

I am SO excited to share my Calm Christmas Advent with you all 🤶

Ironically, the lead up to Christmas can bring many stresses & tensions. So I’ll be releasing a tidbit of calming energy everyday, to keep you grounded through the festive season ☺️

For Day One, we’re focusing on our Dirgha Pranayama (3-Part Breath). Here’s out to do it:
1. Place your hands to your belly, below the navel, & guide your breath into your hands
2. Bring your hands up to your ribs, breathe here
3. Raise your hands to your heart & take a big breath here

Now, you can do as many breaths as you need in each section. If you would like to spice it up, you can play with one big inhale, filling up the belly, then the ribs, then the heart. Followed by a complete exhale, dropping the heart, then drawing the ribs in & pulling the belly back.
